This is going to require a military solution.

Fair prices, no lawsuits, no lawyers, and every one pays for routine medical care , catastrophic policies only.

The military will be needed to take care of Congress and the lawyers.

>>>Never been there so reruns of Newhart will have to do<<<

It was all a Dream, just like Liberal Utopia.

“A spokeswoman for the state’s largest private health insurance provider said the mandate provides stability..." "...to their profit margins.”

The lawyers are smiling... Give the Devil his due....

Vermont is a backwater State hollowed out by meth, unemployment and corruption. The drone governor is nominally republican but the term means nothing in the stagnant waters of the East Coast elites’ version of a summer camp.

Single fathers are already refused Medicaid. But not a single Mother. Discrimination.

Having Type 2 Diabetes that is not under current control because of Med failure, has to be treated. Losing your job because the place closes on short 3 day notice, leaves you with NO pay check, and you are already living paycheck to paycheck, then the private not company, health ins you had gets kissed goodbye as you can’t afford it, rent, food, and utilities, basic car ins because that is a must have in all states, and gas for interviews. And pray your 23 yr old car doesn’t break down again.

Cheaper to just help cover the cost of treating the 1 health condition in a normally healthy person and Emergency situations. That does not require Full Medicaid, just case by case need until the person can find another job and get back on their feet.

They said they would cap insurers profit at 10%. In reality they imposed an 80/20 rule requiring 80% of premiums be spent on care. Subtract for administrative and marketing/selling costs the effect is the same. Putting a floor on spending impeded competitive marketing and drives most providers out of most markets, leaving those who remain left to double the cost and raise the deductible so that earnings in real dollars is higher than they were before the spending rule. Now it is inconceivable to enter a market without a guaranteed number of paying customers, but very limited means to procure customers.

If your doctor doesn’t take the insurance, if you cannot afford the deductible, or your insurer refuses to pay for the treatment you are no better off than if you had no insurance at all.

Strange how the GOP could never capitalize on these arguments either in the repeal effort or reform effort. It’s no wonder the base is so eager to support outside candidates.

So if you are brought in after a shark attack with no ID you get no treatment?
