ON A GOOD DAY
Our worth is tested every day. We are given the choice of being nice to people or uncharitable. We are given the choice of doing our work as well as we can or of goofing off. Some days it seems the tests are harder than on others, but every day brings with it some kind of test. Even the really good days! To have everything go wonderfully for us, to feel like a million dollars, to have one of those days when nothing and nobody can upset us, they are days when we might think we don't need God. And so we pay Him little attention. MISTAKE! BIG MISTAKE! We must never forget our good days are God's gifts to give us a breather, a taste of heaven. "Make no mistake about this," writes St. James, "Every genuine benefit comes from above, descending from the Father of the heavenly luminaries." Good days are made in heaven. Acrylic. Water color is too wishy washy for me, and oil takes too long to dry!

I like Acrylic, Like oils but as you say it takes to long to dry.
That is forgiving in some ways and painful in others LOL

And, with various media (like gels and extenders) it is possible to get a watercolor effect without the bleeding.

I hate bleeding, I know the lack of it and inclusion of it is what watercolor folks are renowned for...
oil? you can smudge that stuff for weeks.
I’m kind of a pen and ink guy.
Lay it down, get it on paper.
