United States has absolutely nothing to fear about losing food supply. We have better weather than Canada, more agricultural land than India and China, better irrigation and rivers than any major country, and we build the best automated farm machinery in the world.
The only thing American farmers have to worry about import taxes, tariffs and restrictions in FOREIGN countries.
We deal with this problem by subsidizing our agricultural sector and imposing stupid mandates to inflate domestic prices (see ethanol as a perfect example of this). These measures would be outlawed under any "free trade" agreement that included ag products.
