Eatery workers: Boycott Army base that called ICE on pizza delivery guy

If an army marches on its stomach, the forces at Fort Hamilton had better learn to cook.

Eateries near the Brooklyn Army base, which handed over an undocumented pizza deliveryman to immigration agents last week, are now refusing to send their own workers into the garrison.

“I won’t send my guys there anymore,” said Josefina Cardoso, owner of the El Puente restaurant in Bay Ridge.

Other local delivery guys said the guards rarely check for any ID. “They don’t ask us for ID,” said Juan Salvador, 38, an immigrant from Guatemala who delivers for Fourth Avenue deli Goustaro. But his manager said she, too, is now afraid to send undocumented food couriers into the federal facility.

Now that I’m 100% my wife and I get military identification cards so we can shop, use the facilities, take space available, etc. We don’t, since we’re stuck at home, but we could.

I’m going out on a limb here, but I will guess that without the business offered by the base, a lot of local eateries will be closed. Workers can boycott themselves out of a job.

In what few times I have gone through security checks at naval bases I can assure you they are really touchy feely guys that would be very hurt knowing that they might hurt someones feelings or deny a pizza.

The article omits a few key facts:
The clown was an illegal who was discovered prior to 2010. In 2010 he agreed in court to voluntarily self deport. In early 2018 he decided to apply for residency after having failed to leave 8 years earlier. IOW, the guy was a two time loser as far the the law goes. Of course now he is married with two kids so it would be terrible to “tare about the family”. Adios.

You mean like the arrest of a criminal illegal alien she hired illegally and should face a criminal action on also? Any idiot has to understand that a federal reserve is not for people to waltz in if you are an illegal alien. Many of this classification of people would love to get on to the reservation and do harm for the purposes of terror attacks. Anyone coming on post is going to be scrutinized and since they are military troops, they are required to act accordingly with the laws of the Constitution and their commanders.

My suggestion to the woman who said this is to stop sending illegals that work for her onto the reservation or refuse to enter the post at all. You lose the business, but you keep your theories in tact. You can discuss this with your owners when you lose the business.
