Senior Justice Department officials announced late Thursday criminal charges against Senate Intelligence Committee’s long-time director of security James Wolfe.
The indictment charges Wolfe with making false statements to the FBI and details how Wolfe passed classified information, including presumably information related to one-time Trump campaign aide Carter Page, to a series of media outlets, confirming long-standing suspicions of the career intelligence community’s complicity in leaks. The three-count indictment charges Wolfe with separate instances of making false statements to the FBI, not directly charging him for leaking classified information, but appearing to detail how he did allegedly leaked classified information to reporters and then allegedly lied about it to the FBI.

Perhaps more than one “romantic affair”. Reporter Marianna Sotomayor is a moderately cute, recent graduate. The other two reporters are male, but perhaps they supplied cute “assistants” once they understood the price for access.
The bigger concern is whether foreign intelligence also played the game. This could wind up really big.
It also leaves "leaking classified info" hanging over his head. It's an incentive to roll over and tell on others.
Less than nothing. HRC disclosed Classified information. She admitted same on National TV. She has never been questioned by Sessions or his Investigators. There were 9 major leaks since Trump took over. More than a year ago Sessions claimed the leaks and leakers were top priority. His first charge in 1 1/2 years. Stays away from all Dems. Another deflection.
In a round about way you answered your own question. Sessions “knew” about Clapper’s leaks and did nothing. That is no way to obtain an extension.
