Senior Justice Department officials announced late Thursday criminal charges against Senate Intelligence Committees long-time director of security James Wolfe.
The indictment charges Wolfe with making false statements to the FBI and details how Wolfe passed classified information, including presumably information related to one-time Trump campaign aide Carter Page, to a series of media outlets, confirming long-standing suspicions of the career intelligence communitys complicity in leaks. The three-count indictment charges Wolfe with separate instances of making false statements to the FBI, not directly charging him for leaking classified information, but appearing to detail how he did allegedly leaked classified information to reporters and then allegedly lied about it to the FBI.

OOps I meant Hillary.
No.You don’t indict them piecemeal either. There needs to be a group of them. Patience. That goes for each other single name to which individuals attach special significance.
So is getting a pass on actually leaking the information, and the only charges that he lied? Why?
Now, I Do Not know if it is happening in this particular case, but I can tell you generally why such lower charges are made to hold an individual and get them into the system. They charge first with what they have an iron-clad case for, more complex charges are held back to negotiate with the perp. To roll him up...get his testimony against further characters in a larger conspiracy. You hold out a carrot and a stick. A carrot is the possibility of a plea deal on this lesser charges that will lighten his sentence, in return for good testimony on others involved in the conspiracy. The stick is the subsequent, much heavier espionage charges that can be put together as the investigation continues.
Now I dont know what is actually happening, none of us commenting here do, but that is what normally happens in cases of wider conspiracy, which, again only in my opinion, this obviously is.
Justice can’t come fast enough for me. But there are realities both unforeseen and difficult that fantasy writers may not take into account. We don’t know if this is the first roll of a snowball or not. Given the circumstances I certainly would not expect massive change in a mere 15 months.
Good for Sessions...
ConservativeMind
“People seem to forget that Sessions has recused himself from all things Trump and Hillary related...He may still not even know this investigation and arrest took place...”
Sessions recused himself from all Trump and Hillary things relating to the 2016 Campaigns
There it is again!..wow
The evidence gained from the small fish expose bigger fish. It's how many investigations have work. This is not complex and fairly routine.
LOL....she’s leaking!!
Thanks for that vid.
Another great creation.
Does anyone know if this cat James was/is married?
Found this:
Wolfe is 57 and married. Watkins was 22 in 2014, making her about 26 today. According to the indictment, Wolfe and reporter number two began a personal relationship in December 2013.
Eew....that would’ve made him (Wolfe, wolfe) 55 when their affair started and Ali the Intern only 21, in 2013.
Why does this remind me of Bill and Monica?
Dirty old man....intern.....
Wonder what Mrs Wolfe has to say, about this, on this busy, breaking news day.
Nonsense. There was no reason in the world to give Clapper a pass on his brazen perjury. Jeff Sessions simply gifts the Deep State with free passes while allowing Rosenstein and Mueller to hound Trump and his supporters to within an inch of their lives.
Why did Jeff Sessions specifically refuse to investigate Lois Lerner?
Then there should be dozens of criminal referrals that are a result of the
coming IG report. Right?

I have no idea what is in something that hasn’t been made public.
Are you disputing the evidence gained from the small fish expose bigger fish? Do you not understand it’s how many investigations work? Are you suggesting this is not how many investigations are routinely conducted?
I believe it was in order to be moderate in addressing gross abuses of power in the preceding administrations. Conservatives tend to work in measured increments rather than in wholesale, radical, dramatic power grabs.
