You mean Soros, right?
“There’s gotta be some paperwork someplace....for tax reasons if nothing else. Pretty hard to keep it a secret so I’ll take a wait and see on this.”
Nothing secret.
Mr. Soross investment firm, Soros Fund Management, is behind SF Bloodstock and SF Racing Group, an international breeding and racing operation started in 2008.
They really don't. They blame him personally for many of their troubles.
Soros Foundations Leaving Hungary Under Government Pressure (NY Times May 15, 2018)
George Soross Open Society Foundations said that they can no longer work in Hungary. The prime minister blames Soros for their national problems. The Soros foundations are moving to Berlin.
Thanks.
I looked at Justify’s ownership and knew everyone involved is in the horse business. I couldn’t figure out the Soros connection.
Plenty of shady characters finance horses, probably just for access to a wealthier class of people.
As an old cowboy once told me, “ya can’t blame the cow ‘cause she’s owned by an asshole”.
SF is a very minor holder. They are big-time in breeding, owning dozens of horses internationally for the purpose. They just want access to him for breeding. They don’t count on making money by wagering at the track.
Every year with the Triple Crown talk
I always view the 1973 Secretariat runaway...* goose bumps*...

Break a leg!
oh, wrong saying?
Of course I mean Gyorgy Sörös (né Schwartz). Of course it’s not too late to geld his sons . . .
A new approached to throwing $ into the trash can at Santa Anita? Lol.
Starting to resign myself because Soros already owns so much of what we do anyway....
His sons are like 70 right? Too late to geld.
