It's no secret that President Donald Trump loathes his attorney general, Jeff Sessions. The reason it's no secret is because on a weekly basis -- and sometimes even a daily basis -- the President is tweeting his distaste for Sessions.
Just when you thought the bullying couldn't get any worse -- Trump has repeatedly said he would never and should never have hired Sessions, called him "beleaguered," "very weak" and "disgraceful," and reportedly refers to the former Alabama senator as "Mr. Magoo" -- today happened.
The scene: A FEMA briefing in which Trump and a number of his Cabinet officials were seated around a table. For most of the Cabinet officials, Trump was effusive in his praise of the job they were doing. And then there was Sessions.
Here's what Trump said about each of the Cabinet members; I saved Sessions until last because, well, you'll see.
* Secretary of State Mike Pompeo: "Mike. Mike, another great job you are doing. Secretary Michael Pompeo. We're keeping him very busy. We're keeping you so busy. You're going to be flying -- a lot of flying in the next couple of weeks. But what a job you've done, and we appreciate it. The whole country appreciates it, Mike. Thank you very much." * Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin: "Steve Mnuchin. Steve, wherever you may be. He's working hard on those taxes and keeping the taxes down. We passed the greatest tax cut in the history of our country, and lots of other things. And thank you very much. Great. I think we say that we have had the strongest -- this is the strongest, from an economic standpoint, that our country has ever been. We're doing better in terms of business, in terms of unemployment. We've broken the record with

I’m a little surprised that you are much more enthusiastic about trashing the man who is giving Trump so many good headlines than you are about beating the progressives using the Democratic party as a stalking horse to advance an agenda that maybe 15% of naive math-challenged members of the voting public want to foist on the rest.
President Trump was the one who publicly crunched your boy’s nutz, not me.
I’m merely cheering on the President:)
‘Rosenstein Will Recuse Himself From Russia Probe on ONE Condition’
Please read this article and explain how the DOJ under Sessions is not as dirty or even dirtier than it was under Lynch.
Tia.

I thank God that he's an expert player.
America has a President who is brilliant and benevolent. No wonder the Forces of Darkness are in panic!
(But I'll breathe a sigh of relief when he has successfully routed them!)
uh
huh...
So Sessions is announcing what he is doing and not and being honest about it? Just like the Obama administration. was honest about what they were doing and not? Why expect Sessions to tell what he is exactly doing to the public so the deep state have time to counter?
As you said, no facts, no nothing. All you have to back up your FANTASY is your wishful hoping. Now youve moved your fantasy to the mid terms. Im sure this has been your position on Sessions master plan from the beginning. Dont you ever get tired of looking foolish shilling for that boob Sessions?
One more time. Sessions ***IS*** telling the world what he’s doing. He has announced that Lois Lerner will never be prosecuted and now, just recently, he did the same for the Awans.
Note: if Sessions’ DOJ aggressively pursued the Awans it would reveal the very worst level of treasonous activity—all on the part of the Democrats.
So of course Sessions had to refuse to investigate the Awans. Can’t be caught redhanded going after the Democrat leadership, after all.
Btw, what was Sessions’ rationale for giving Lerner a free pass? Surely you know.
I agree, that looks absolutely terrible.
I will be 100% honest with you. When I read that the Awans would not be investigated, I had a feeling/reaction that I’ve had only once before. It happened when Obama was declared the winner of the 2008 presidential election. Calling it a gut punch is such an understatement. It’s a body-blow of singular and terrible proportions.
But I keep reminding myself God is in control. It doesn’t depend on any one person or group of them; here’s who it depends on:
Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
bttt
Thank you for the article, which I read with interest. What the writer overlooks is that the DOJ, as part of the executive branch, is subject to the authority of the president. If President Trump wanted Rosenstein to be recused, the DAG would either have to obey or resign. (Remember the fate of Rosenstein's predecessor, Sally Yates?) The same is true regarding access to documents, which would be released in an instant if the president commanded.
The inescapable fact is that President Trump has not issued such orders, so he obviously has his reasons. And given that grand juries have been working in at least three federal districts, I suspect his reasons have to do with timing.
By the way, drive over to 1180 Peachtree Street NE and ask Sally Yates if she is worried. She just might vomit.
Do you not understand the Mueller witch hunt at all??? Yates was fired before the Deep State coup to destroy Trump’s presidency got underway. Now Trump is literally being investigated for obstruction for simply ***thinking*** (allegedly), about firing Sessions. Trump can’t even speak directly to Sessions anymore; Mueller would open yet another obstruction investigation.
Read up on Mueller. His specialty is framing innocent people and dragging witch hunts out forever. He succeeded in driving one innocent man to suicide and he worked to insure that two other innocent men, framed by the FBI, died in prison.
None of this stuff is hard. It’s all readily available and painfully obvious. The Sessions-Rosenstein-Mueller hit squad is trying to drive Trump to emulate Nixon. The moment Trump steps into the trap they will begin the process of destroying him in earnest. They won’t let up until they succeed, and the GOP, led by Trump-haters Ryan and McConnell, will help them every step of the way.
The fear factor does not match your narrative, as Trump’s enemies are the only ones in panic mode. But time will tell.
The idea that Trump’s enemies are in panic mode is a complete fabrication. It exists only in the imaginations of the TRUST SESSIONS crew.
Still thinking Sessions is doing nothing?
Still think Sessions is doing nothing?
Absolutely. One arrest after all the time he’s been AG is ***pathetic.***
Timing means everything, not to mention ridding the DOJ, FBI, CIA, judges, etc. of Obama-Clinton cronies. You guys complaining that Sessions was not doing anything apparently want charges brought up on people so those loyal to Obama Clinton can make sure they go nowhere. Are you able to see what was going on or just want instant satisfaction of charges on people though getting off as usual?
Screw the FR Sessions Shills. They are too stupid to function.
