Donald Trump just dunked on Jeff Sessions in the most vicious way possible
CNN Fake News ^ | 6/6/2018 | Chris Cilliza

It's no secret that President Donald Trump loathes his attorney general, Jeff Sessions. The reason it's no secret is because on a weekly basis -- and sometimes even a daily basis -- the President is tweeting his distaste for Sessions.

Just when you thought the bullying couldn't get any worse -- Trump has repeatedly said he would never and should never have hired Sessions, called him "beleaguered," "very weak" and "disgraceful," and reportedly refers to the former Alabama senator as "Mr. Magoo" -- today happened.

The scene: A FEMA briefing in which Trump and a number of his Cabinet officials were seated around a table. For most of the Cabinet officials, Trump was effusive in his praise of the job they were doing. And then there was Sessions.

Here's what Trump said about each of the Cabinet members; I saved Sessions until last because, well, you'll see.

* Secretary of State Mike Pompeo: "Mike. Mike, another great job you are doing. Secretary Michael Pompeo. We're keeping him very busy. We're keeping you so busy. You're going to be flying -- a lot of flying in the next couple of weeks. But what a job you've done, and we appreciate it. The whole country appreciates it, Mike. Thank you very much." * Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin: "Steve Mnuchin. Steve, wherever you may be. He's working hard on those taxes and keeping the taxes down. We passed the greatest tax cut in the history of our country, and lots of other things. And thank you very much. Great. I think we say that we have had the strongest -- this is the strongest, from an economic standpoint, that our country has ever been. We're doing better in terms of business, in terms of unemployment. We've broken the record with

When Trump thanked these people he also said what they were doing.

He thanked Sessions also but why would he tell the world what Sessions was doing?

One would think, Barney Fife or Mr. Magoo, whoever, would take the hint and resign. You can bet that after the mid-terms he’ll be out.

In all honesty, Sessions is the one I’d watch, if it ever gets to the impeachment stage. I have a theory that he turned on Trump after being called an ‘idiot,’ [for recusing]. I believe that long-serving senators develop the idea that they’re royalty, and don’t take kindly to being treated with disrespect.

Anyway, Sessions has been actively siding with the swamp against Trump. If the Permanent Political Class can just get to the point of impeachment, I believe Sessions would discover that his ‘honor,’ required him to testify against POTUS.

‘September when the Swamp Rats all get their indictments unsealed’

“What do you base this opinion on?”

September gives them a little breathing room. For many, many mos [since October, in fact] they’ve been predicting huge, game-changing developments weekly. Nothing ever happened. Just recently—VERY recently—a few have caught on. Now they’ve moved the timetable out several mos so that they don’t look as silly/ridiculous on a weekly basis.

The fact is they know NOTHING about a single indictment. They don’t know who the indictments concern or when or even if they’ll be unsealed. Rather, it’s all part of an elaborate, fact-free fairytale woven from the overly active imaginations of people who cannot deal with actual, established events and facts.

“Abusing Sessions is absolutely a mistake...”

I trust Trump’s judgment over yours.

BTW, did you see the video? Trump didn’t just abuse Sessions, he de-balled him!

There’s always an excuse. Is that why Sessions flatly refused to investigate first Lerner and now the Awans? Because unless the judiciary is pristine the worst criminals on the Left get a free pass?

Many years ago, my father's brother, a brilliant and highly successful man, told me that one day the USA could go the way of the Roman Republic.

I believed him but couldn't imagine exactly how it could happen. However, I considered the enormous wealth and power concentrated in Washington and the kinds of people who would be attracted to it like a magnet, and I realized that many people dreamed of seizing it all, of seizing control of the greatest, richest, most powerful nation in history, and that the only thing preventing their doing so was the strength of American institutions; i.e., they couldn't figure out how to pull it off because America was too healthy.

Today, we realize that a cabal has found a way and has almost done it.

The reason it's possible: America, like Europe, has succumbed to the decadence of Western Civilization. Consequently, America and her institutions are not healthy enough to prevent such a coup d'état. Her most immaculate and dependable institutions have been corrupted, including the FBI, CIA, IRS, Department of Justice, et al., and subverted for political purposes and for the purposes of allowing the cabal to seize control of the USA.

When President Trump undertook the challenge of "cleaning up Washington," i.e. exterminating the corruption and restoring America and her institutions, he probably did not understand the depth of the corruption or the extent and power of the cabal nor that the challenge that he was undertaking was nothing less than halting and reversing the decadence of Western Civilization, a challenge that would tax even his formidable intellect, energy, and resources.

He will probably prevail because truth and the angels are on his side and his resources are mighty.

However the honest and benevolent must give him all the help and support they can.

Unfortunately, at a time when the USA faces its greatest crisis since the Civil War--perhaps an even greater crisis--the Attorney General is utterly ineffective. One can only speculate about the reasons.

But the USA needs an effective and capable Attorney General now as much as any time in history--perhaps more than at any other time.

Sessions REFUSES to investigate the worst criminsls—such as Lois Lerner and the Awans—but has arranged for psychopath Mueller to investigate Trump and his supporters never-endingly to within an inch of their lives. Only in the warped, deranged view of the Sessions fan club is this portrayed as ‘justice.’

Meanwhile they just busted a big pedo ring in Atlanta. There are more of those going on. And you know Sessions is not investigating those people how? You expect Sessions to announce to the deep state what he is doing?

"The only problem is that a replacement would not be confirmed. Then Rod Rosenstein would truly be in charge of the DOJ."

Which is why that skunk Mitch the Turtle called the Senate back in session so that their can be no recess appointments by POTUS, so he can't fire him, they'd have to go throw the Senate Goat Rodeo to get approved.

Sundance pointed this out in his thread reader the other day, and I think he nailed it.

Someone needs to challenge him as speaker or find dirt on him so he resigns, He is not what this country needs at this time, neither is a majority of his com-padre's in the Senate.

You may be right. Maybe he did. He is brilliant enough; that's for sure.

I hope you're right.

I think he is muddling through everything I described just as he muddled through the Republican Primary in 2016 and ultimately secured the nomination. I think that in this present struggle, he will ultimately secure victory.

It's just hard for me to imagine that anyone could have the intellect, strength, and energy to overcome the forces of darkness that are opposing him. I think his secret weapon is what I alluded to vide supra: He is armed with Truth and is on the side of the angels. He regularly prays--probably constantly--and is a man of faith in God.

If he can restore America to that, it will have been his greatest service.

If President Trump succeeds, he will have been American's greatest President.

Did you happen to see the video of Bob Corker getting booed when Trump introduced him at a rally last week in TN? Corker looked like he was about to lose his lunch!

What Trump did to Sessions was a whole lot worse, believe me. I have never in my life seen such an utter and public humiliation of a man.

And to that I say => GO TRUMP!

Do you ever stop and listen to yourself? Sessions is perfectly happy to tell the world what he’s not doing:

‘GOP Enraged After AG Sessions Refuses to Charge Lois Lerner In IRS Scandal’

[Link below]

See post 102 for info on Jeff’s *refusal* to investigate the Awans. Sessions is giving the worst of the worst a complete pass. How you cannot see this is a mystery.

The time to stop the Trump Train was election night.

Now that he is President, he has all the cards.
