With the left, it’s always someone else’s fault!

“in part due to Hillary Clinton clashing with Gore as she built her own power base in the White House.”

Bill was to be Hillary’s stepping stone to the WH!

Maybe not, fat boy.

There could’ve been more attention focused on Chinese Communist influence on the 1996 Presidential campaign including contributions solicited by Al. Illegal foreign campaign donations in exchange for rocket technology...

IMO the decision to snatch Elian Gonzalez and forcibly repatriate him to Cuba cost Gore that election. Likely ticked-off Cubans in Florida were the hanging chad margin of difference.

The Cankle is taking lessons from Manbearpig on how to perpetually blame your failures in life on anything and everything OTHER THAN themselves.

You lost Florida and the election because the Clinton administration sent a Cuban boy back to Fidel Castro’s Cuba.

“González’s mother, Elizabeth Brotons Rodríguez, drowned in November 1999 while attempting to leave Cuba with González and her boyfriend to get to the United States. The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) initially placed González with paternal relatives in Miami, who sought to keep him in the United States against his father’s demands that González be returned to Cuba.”

“After the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear the case, by order of U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, federal agents took González from the paternal relatives and returned him to his father in Cuba in June 2000.”

Amazing how these folks are trying to play revisionist history...

They steadfastly claimed it was a “personal matter”....

There, you OWN it.

This is the very subject that brought me and many others to FR back in 1998...yep, i’ve been posting here now for 20 yrs.

I look back at these 20 yrs, wow, what a shit show it’s been...

ALGORE stood on the steps of the Capital with a plethora of Democrats behind him and told the world that Bill Clinton will go down as one of the greatest presidents in U.S. History. He didn't have to do that.

Even someone as dumb as he should have known that things you say and do have consequences.

What a shame, Al!

If it wasn't for Bill Clinton, you'd be reproducing the miracle of generating huge political donations from poverty-vow taking Buddhist temples all across the world!

I always thought that if Gore and the dims had done the right thing and told Clinton that his perjury, asking others to commit perjury, and obstructing justice by trying to get his secretary to destroy evidence of the affair he was lying about (3 felonies) was too much and he had to resign, Gore might have purge enough of the Clinton stink off of himself and won.

But then, when have dims done the right thing or shown any integrity during one of their scandals?
