When I was a catholic, so many decades ago, I hated wearing the scapular, because it irritated my skin. Maybe it was made of wool. I am not sure. That was in catholic grade school. When I reached catholic high school, not a single person wore it anymore. The priests did not tell us to wear it anymore, but I don’t know why. Maybe deep inside, they really DID want us to experience hell fire 🔥 I just don’t know for sure. 😁🤣
