Washington (CNN)

President Donald Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said Sunday that the President should not testify before special counsel Robert Mueller because "our recollection keeps changing."

Giuliani made the comment when asked about fellow Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow's contradictory remarks on whether the President weighed in on a statement put out about his son Donald Trump Jr.'s controversial 2016 meeting with Russians at Trump Tower.

I recall him saying he’d wrap up the Mueller probe in 1 or 2 weeks. That was over a month ago.

Mr. Mayor is clearly past his sell-by date.

All Mueller could nail the President for is for perjury.

A minor crime. No reason for him to submit to an interview.

Btw, the shelf life BS for most products, is pure BS. They got all these fools to throw out perfectly good products to only go back and by more of the same.

It's like when cable TV was billed as "Commercial free" and now they have suckers who used to watch TV for free, are now paying to watch their non-stop commercials which they've already been paid for.☺

Colossal con jobs abound.

Sometimes, when an event happened that assumes importance a year or more after the fact, it gets replayed, different information comes out, and well, you’re not really sure exactly who said exactly what, when. Your impression might not change, but your detailed memory isn’t always truly detailed and carved in stone.

Speaking from some business lawsuit experience, where later information about people’s motives sometimes colors your impression of what you remember.

CNN click.

That said I’m thinking Rudy should stay off TV, it’s not working out well. Between the subpoena and the pardon thing he’s managed to put the BS Trump/Russia thing back as the lead in the news cycle.

Correct. Chef-Boyardee canned pasta, meat sauce in the prepper supplies.

Nearly a year past “Sell By” date - no problem. It was just fine. Probably had 36 cans of various products. All were consumed past or well past the “Sell By” date. Every single one of them was just fine.

Latest, I get cheap Strawberry Preserves. 2 year shelf life, minimum. Grape Jelly, surprisingly, only has a 1 year shelf life. It’s cheap though - good-sized jar is $1.15 private brand at a local grocer.

Sad if true. But on the other hand this really might be part of a deliberate strategy. Throw out as many unusual statements as possible. It sure would confuse the enemy. Kinda like chaff:

Trump shouldn’t testify because they have no crime. Why give them a chance to find one for something that had nothing to do with what fish they are after. They want Russian collusion. Okay, get some. Otherwise, put up or shut up. They did this to Scooter Libby and “trumped up” two charges of perjury and making a false statement concerning a four year old phone call to Tim Russert that Russert changed his statment on, at least, twice on whether Valerie Plame worked for the CIA even though she had an office in the building in Washington.

Scooter Libby did not “out” CIA employee Valerie Plame. That was done by then-Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, a critic of the conduct of the Iraq war. Mr. Armitage disclosed to columnist Robert Novak that Ms. Plame, who at the time held a desk job in the CIA’s Counterproliferation Division, urged the agency to send her husband, retired Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson, to Africa in early 2002 to investigate whether Iraq had sought uranium. Presidential aide Karl Rove and then-CIA Director of Public Affairs Bill Harlow confirmed Mr. Armitage’s disclosure for Novak’s July 14, 2003, column.

And the funny thing about that was that Iraq did buy cake from Niger even though Wilson and Plame both denied it. Iraq did go uranium shopping in Niger and it was part of the 550 metric tons of uranium shipped to Canada to be downgraded to industrial strength from weapons grade with the last of it shipped in 2008 in an action called “operation McCall” by the Pentagon. So, it appears, the only person telling the truth was Libby.

And they’ll gladly do the same thing to Trump if he lets them. With their track record, I’d tell them where to go and hand them a map to find it.

perhaps you could discuss them first with a smart staffer or?

It appears Giuliani went to DC thinking it's a country club and he'd be able to fix everything with past relationships. What he found is it's a corrupt, hateful place and logic and law don't matter above Leftist thirst for power.
