LeBron James kept willing the Cleveland Cavaliers back into the game, and George Hill nearly won the game in regulation, but the Golden State Warriors found their offense in overtime and walked away with an unsettling 124-114 victory in Game 1 of the N.B.A. finals on Thursday...

I remember when the NBA was worth watching. Gotta step in the wayback machine though.
It’s like what was said about the Iran-Iraq war.
“Why can’t they both lose?”
It’s too bad there can be only one loser....
I was arguing with a guy today and made a very stupid bet. I bet that JR Smith was an honors graduate.
This is breaking news? Wow, it’s right up there with the latest news on Obola! Who knew?
J.R. Smiths dumb play ruins LeBrons heroics as Cavaliers drop Game 1
OAKLAND, Calif. The Cavs were a shot away from an upset. They had the ball. But it was J.R. Smith who had his mitts on it. Not LeBron James.
Smith had done a great job, grabbing the rebound of a missed George Hill free throw in a tied game. He promptly dribbled out the clock and James watched in horror.
LMAO.

Yep. The fix is in. If you would watch her if there were any other teams and its been that way for quite a while
Basketball is such a great game, but not by the NBA rules or officiating. And its been that way for decades
I wont watch the NBA for anything. just bores the hell out of me
In the first game? To favor the projected winner?
The best usually bring some up to or close to their level of play
Classic!
1969 was the upset year — Jets Super Bowl, Mets World Series, Celtics NBA.
I include the Celtics, because despite having such a 1960s dynasty, they were counted out by most people in 1969 after a lackluster regular season and old age.
But not by Wilt. During one of the last regular season games, the postgame interviewer asked Wilt who he thought was the team to beat in the play-offs. The up-and-coming Bullets?
“No. The Celtics. When you’ve been beaten by them as much as I have, you got to respect them.”
i will spend more time writing and posting this comment then the amount of time i spend watching the NBA this year...
LeBron is one of the most dominant players ever. But he is not one of the best teammates ever. With LBJ on your team chemistry suffers, young player development is in hold. He sucks the air out of the room and off of the court.
Oh, plus he is a flopper, a crybaby, and displays a huge sense of entitlement when it comes to hoops.
Yeah.....except for all that he’s the best player of all time. <^..^>
Jordan is still the best of all time because he made everyone around him better.
lol.
LMAO.
