The real strange branding issue with Samantha Bee’s filthy mouth — she regularly uses language such as this — is that TBS had built up a reputation of being relatively family-friendly. Major League Baseball, The Bill Engvall Show, Down to Earth, Are We There Yet, Rocky Road, Safe at Home, the New Leave it to Beaver, etc., plus family-sitcom repeats.
Now their re-runs range from edgier adults-only comedy (Freinds, 2 Broke Girls, the New Girl) to outright pedophile-grooming filth (American Dad, the Cleveland Show).
Note: I like Bob’s Burgers; I didn’t know TBS was showing re-runs. . The Cleveland Show revels in child molestation, gang bangs and pansexual kids. By contrast, Bob and his wife TRY to be decent parents, and despite their poverty and resultant shenanigans, aren’t doing that badly.
There is very adult humor, but it’s aimed over kids’ heads, and if they do get it, it doesn’t promote filth. For example, in one episode, Bob took medicine before expecting to spend some time with his wife while the kids were asleep. When he had to rescue his kids instead of “sleeping,” there were various jokes: he was flustered at how to leave the house, walked bent over funny, and, worst of all, seemed to have an oddly easy time carrying a life-sized dummy made of chewing gum despite being short-handed... all played with awkwardness, not satisfaction.

I believe the first 3 verses apply especially, these days, to the liberal factions in America and indeed, around the world. Samantha Bee is a Canadian citizen but is just as trashy as any of her counterparts here in America.

Samantha Bee is a Canadian citizen who became a United States citizen in 2014. She of course was allowed to retain her Canadian citizenship. It seems obvious that she became a United States citizen mostly to keep from paying a high percentage of her income to Canada to pay for all the socialist programs that she loves so much
The real question is why do “American corporations” such as Time Warner, who owns TBS give Canadian celebrities a soap box to attack our country? If she hates us and our President so much... why don’t we just give her a one way ticket back to Canada?
