Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that “ABC does not tolerate comments like those” made by Roseanne Barr. Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC. Maybe I just didn’t get the call?
Yes. He sure knows how to put the posturing PC bullies in their place.
Which means that ABC cannot fire her because of it or refuse to make reasonable accommodations because of it. How did they do either one in this case?
I’m still not seeing the racist part.
1. I didn’t know ValJar was of AA ancestry, not surprised, but really didn’t know. It’s not obvious. Did everyone else know? Do Americans even know who she is?
2. I didn’t know Planet of the Apes had anything to do with African American ancestry. I do not think those masks look African. I understand there have been times Black people have been insulted by comparisons to monkeys. I guess chimpanzees do have dark skin, but most monkeys don’t have chocolate varieties of skin or fur. And if Planet of the Apes is racist, why did they make so many movies?
3. Valerie Jarrett has a strange lizard like face, so comparing her to animals is kind of normal.
4. Roseanne (though I am not a fan of hers) May be like freeepers aware that ValJar was actually in charge during the Obama admin, but the general public has no idea this anti-constitutional travesty took place for 8 years. A true enemy of the People of the United States was running the government. Insulting her looks is the LEAST justice of what she deserves.
5. Jarrett has wanted to insidiously make the United States more Muslim. This is her goal.
So how was this tweet, obnoxious and insulting, yes, racist in any way? Still not seeing it. Yet everyone on the radio is fawning over how disgustingly racist it is.

That’s exactly what she is. I’m guessing over 50% of Americans had never heard of the Lizard Queen before this, now of course she gets to be a martyr in the MSM coverage, whereas she’s more like the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz, running Obama’s coup for him. Evil b!tch.
Sadly, I followed your suggestion and went to check out twitter at PDJT’s tweet. All the responses I saw made me feel so horrible. Everyone is directly tweeting hate to the POTUS. Citizens calling the President dumb and racist and evil to his face.
It disappoints me so much it hurts.
I might have said an awful lot about President Obama on FR that would not have pleased him. But I never would have dared tweet mean things to his twitter account. THE TWITTER ACCOUNT OF THE POTUS.
It is a very sad time that people treat their own elected President, this one an actual eligible citizen even, with such trashy disdain. I’m sorry to see this. obama was revered by these same people. Don’t they understand to respect the OFFICE?

One of the many characteristics I admire about OUR President is that he won’t be baited by the media and rarely, of ever, misses an opportunity to highlight the left’s hypocrisy.

Aside from that, while Barr’s tweet was stupid, crude and unnecessary, I think she was referring to Jarrett’s overall appearance (wearing a Muslim veil, along with Hillary) and the bizarre hairdo she had at one point, emulating Michelle Obama’s Planet of the Apes hairdo (swept up and back and then puffed out). Valerie Jarret doesn’t even look black, so it was not a racial slur.
That said, Barr should have had enough common sense to know that it would be taken as one.

I agree with you. VJ does not even look slightly AA, and I don’t think this was a reference to her race or anything except her clothing (Muslim veil) and hairstyle (Planet of the Apes “do,” which Michelle Obama also wore).
However, Barr should have been smart enough to realize now that certain words will now always be taken as a racial reference if the subject is even remotely AA, even if you didn’t know it at the time.
My guess is he already strategized this completely.
Somebody tweeted yesterday at @ThomasWictor that Jarret now has the spotlight on her.
