Trump wishes he hadn't picked Jeff Sessions for attorney general

President Donald Trump said Wednesday he regretted choosing Jeff Sessions as attorney general, a continuation of the President's frustrations over Sessions' decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation.

Quoting Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-South Carolina, who noted on CBS earlier Wednesday that Trump "could have picked somebody else" for the position, Trump tweeted, "I wish I did!"

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump ....There are lots of really good lawyers in the country, he could have picked somebody else!” And I wish I did! 8:47 AM - May 30, 2018

Donald Trump left Trump wide open for the "Mueller Rosenstein endless cavity search."

No $hit. And Roseanne wishes she hadn’t tweeted while drunk.

Trump has made a series of bad personnel decisions. Kelly and Pompeo are the only really good ones I can think of. Part of it is that few want to work for him. He’s a tough boss.

Because firing his AG, while he was under serious investigation, worked out so well for Nixon.

Smh.

How do you know that few want to work for the President?

"McConnell has said he will not confirm anyone else unless Sessions resigns."

Confirms Ditch's perfidy against Trump and the country.

Yeah, I don’t buy this one bit. Trump has fired senior admin people for far less numerous times already. I doubt he’s shy about firing Sessions.

“The President can fire him at will.

The media will howl. So what.”

The “so what,” is the problem he will face getting the GOPe-controlled Senate to “consent” to Sessions replacement. My guess is Trump will wait until Mueller is “dispatched,” and possibly until the November Election is done, with the hope that the voters will give him some decent replacements (i.e for Corker, Flake, McCain, Fischer, Wicker and Heller)

And Sessions has been able to prepare 24,000 sealed indictments in under 18 months with almost zero interference from the media or Democrats.

Trump’s no fool. If Sessions were incompetent or bent, he’d be gone.

Trust me, the ‘Deep Thinkers,’ are already calling this,’kabuki.’

Kabuki: a magical word used by illogical people to nullify anything they don’t want to believe.

Because firing his AG, while he was under serious investigation, worked out so well for Nixon.

Except every statement we've seen attributed to Mueller or his team indicates that Trump isn't under ANY investigation, let alone "serious investigation."

Comey knew Trump wasn't a target of an investigation but wouldn't say so publicly. That made him a duplicitous @sshole because he essentially used it as extortion to hold his job.

Within one day of his public Senate testimony in May 2017 when he stated that Trump was not a target of an FBI investigation, he was fired -- because Trump could now do it without any facing any claims that he was trying to undermine an FBI investigation.

Think about this ...

Sessions' decision to recuse himself from any investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election -- or any matters related to the 2016 campaign -- should make it EASIER for Trump to fire him ... shouldn't it?

Trump tweeted, "I wish I did!"

The whole thing is pathetic. Trump looks weak by lamenting about picking Sessions yet not doing anything about it. The only thing I can figure is Trump is waiting for Sessions to do something that makes it politically easier to fire him. Or ... all this is just Trump 3D chess and Trump is fueling a false narrative for some reason.

If Sessions had an ounce of integrity he would step down voluntarily. He proves he is a swamp creature by staying in his position. Resign now Sessions before you go down in history as a corrupt bum.

Not paranoid to conclude that the globalist Left has something on Sessions ( a preference for young boys perhaps) and that Sessions was a plant in the Trump campaign at the very beginning. Sessions is the part of the plot that worked for the swamp globalists.

I can assure you that Donald J. Trump didn’t go through that 2015-16 campaign and win a stunning upset in the face of such daunting odds just so he could get to Washington and have a bunch of useless Swamp-creature @ssholes tell him what he can and cannot do when it comes to his own executive decisions.

20,000 sealed indictments don’t sit on a docket for 8 months. These online sleuths are counting when indictments are filed, NOT when they are unsealed. Most have been unsealed within a few days. They don’t sit around clogging up court resources indefinitely.
