Publix CEO Todd Jones on Tuesday told the father of a Parkland, Florida student killed in the February 14 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that the Florida-based supermarket chain would not be making a donation to the school’s student fund. Last week leftist revolutionary Parkland student gun control activist David Hogg demanded Publix give $1 million to the Stoneman Douglas Victim’s fund to atone for donating a reported $670,000 in recent years to Adam Putnam, a pro-NRA Florida Republican running for governor. Hogg led a die-in inside Publix stores last Friday to protest Publix’s support for Putnam, who is currently Florida’s Agriculture Commissioner.

Just before the start of the die-ins Friday afternoon Publix announce it was suspending political donations for a period of review. A Publix customer service representative told this writer Friday evening Publix had taken no decision at that point on Hogg’s million dollar demand.

It would appear that the grieving father of the young Parkland girl is desperately trying to expose David Hogg as the scheming extortionist he is.
Publix fell into Hogg’s trap......lost good will with the community....and is finally finding a bit of courage to stand up to this punk!

I’ve done nothing to harm blacks. I try to treat them with respect like I do all others. I would suggest they treat me the same.
I would load a dozen or so flats of canned goods into a cart then cruise the aisles looking for fingers to accidently pinch.
Hard to miss someone who either A.) Wasn’t on campus at the time of the shooting. Or B.) Was/is in collusion with the shooter.
The IRONY of this is hilarious.
Perhaps the most cited reason for school shooters is bullying.

Having said that, I still have a ‘wait and see’ with Publix
I haven’t been back since Friday and I usually go twice a week or more.
I’ve been a loyal Publix shopper for over 40 years,
I called corporate ( Lakeland, Fla) to tell them why I won’t be back
They should atone for their $670,000 donation to Adam Putnam with a million dollar donation to DeSantis.

It sure seems like extortion to me. Publix needs to have mini Adolf arrested. It’s time for little Davy Piggy to pay the consequences for his fascist “gangstah” actions.
