Reporter Kaitlan Collins cited and displayed a tweet from “VoteVets” harshly criticizing President Trump’s Memorial Day tweet in which he touted the strong economy. An innocent viewer might have assumed VoteVets was a non-partisan group representing all veterans.
What Collins and CNN failed to disclose is that “VoteVets” is actually a self-described “progressive” political action committee. Even the New York Times has described VoteVets as “a group closely aligned with Congressional Democrats.” The group has spent millions attacking Republicans and supporting Dem candidates. It even takes up other liberal causes such as “clean energy.”

Of course, every anonymous comment from anonymous sources is really just CNN staff saying what they think, not reporting any news.
Agreed. In this case, the source wasn’t anonymous, but its hyper-partisan liberal bias was concealed from viewers.
In the 50’s and 60’s Communist groups were told to use names that sounded ‘American patriotic’... this ‘naming’ is very similar...
I am starting to believe Trump’s comment to “have a happy Memorial Day weekend”, was a troll to trigger the media to go off the rails again.
This is consistent with the “Resist” message that the DNC has been pushing.
The liberal vet group is doing exactly what they are supposed to do .

Chilling stuff. Basically, they know it’s a leftist group doing it. They are proud.
In other words, VoteVets is astroturf.
It was cherry-picked with a purpose. Chosen only because it’s what they themselves would have said if they were honest.
In reality, it’s those who watch Morning Joe that are stupid. Having a brain and watching Morning Joe are mutually exclusive.
There are a lot of DNC sponsored fake “vets” groups out there.
Fraud is not ‘journalism’ and ‘paying the piper is inevitable for these frauds.
