It may even be worth it to buy a stack of five dollar Starbucks gift cards and pass them out to the homeless you see at the stop lights. Just because, F@ U lefties!

No need. Just grab a stack of business cards from the manager and pass those out.
I love your idea.
The old fashioned broadside still has a role, too. Post dozens of sheets photoshopped with Starbucks logo all over town on light posts and walls. Say “We care about our neighbors. We are offering free coffee and pastries of your choice to all this week.” Pass these out to derelicts, too.
Homeless and young people arrive and get furious over denial of the free stuff. Remember every week there is a violent outburst at a McD or other fast food place (manager scalded by hot coffee thrown in his face by customer in argument over prices etc.)
Don’t worry, if you live up here you know the liberals in Seattle’s King County will get the state to declare a new tax and make the funds available to create an addition to EBT. Then the perps can get the ones that others don’t use as they do not drink coffee, and they can stay there all day getting free coffee and muffins.
And just as soon as they get a locked bathroom door where two consenting adults can play tickle and scratch or one or more can shoot up leaving junk behind, they can explain that one to the tax payers. Places will look like the south side of Chicago.
But it will eliminate the need for a change fund as no one with money will go there. They’ll be at Duncan Donuts or Tully’s.

Dude! I deem this to be tremendous!
The smellier the better!
