Barack and Michelle Obama are raking in the cash, thanks to the influence of a former campaign supporter.
The couple last week signed a creative production deal with Netflix that one entertainment-industry source said could be valued at more than $50 million.
Ted Sarandos, a major campaign contributor for Obama and the streaming giant’s creative-content chief who oversees an $8 billion budget, helped to broker the deal, the source told The Post.
Sarandos and his wife, Nicole Avant, bundled nearly $600,000 in contributions to Obama from their friends and associates during the 2012 presidential campaign.
The couple is friends with the Obamas, and Avant served as the US ambassador to the Bahamas from 2009 to 2011, during the former president’s first term.

Democrat is just another code word for GRAFT... Both the Clinton’s and the Obama’s barely had a pot to p*ss in or a window to throw it out of before they ascended to their lofty positions... Now they are rich beyond their wildest dreams.
Meanwhile, Trump and the Bush’s were wealthy before becoming powerful, and the same goes for Reagan, Nixon and Eisenhower who became self-made millionaires... Goes to show, if you put a pig at a trough they are always going to feed. And the Obama’s and the Clinton’s are being fed very well for their ‘services’ while in power.

I have cancelled my Netflix account and did it immediately after reading this crap about the Obummers’ crap. Interestingly, Netflix did not cancel it immediately as I ha just paid my next month’s rent. No refund and I will check and see the rent is has stayed “removed” next month.
Netflix won’t prorate. So customers are stuck paying for whatever is left of the month they won’t use after cancelling.

Cancelled Netflix this morning
I thought the same thing, and posted similar comments on this forum a few days ago. After thinking about it however, and without discounting the real possibility of graft or even just wanting to reward the left’s Dear Leader, there may be a legitimate reason for this deal.
As I understand it, the biggest job of an executive producer is raising the funds needed to launch new productions. Particularly I would think for SJW movies that won’t rake in huge box office. Obviously the Obamas have the influence to do that. This may also pay for some unregistered lobbying down the road.
