You realize that you also completely accurately described Jerry Brown, our worthless four term governor here in California. Let’s see, we had 8 years of his worthless father, Edmund G (Pat) Brown, then Reagan came in for 8 years and fixed things. Then we had the first 8 years of Jerry the Fairy. Then, thank God, his sister Kathleen failed to take his place or things would have been bad sooner. After a couple of worthless Republicans, (Deukmejian and Wilson). We got Jerry’s chief of Staff, Gray Davis who didn’t last long, because hie was recalled for being a worthless crook. Then, our big mistake was electing Ahnold the Awful, whose only “contribution” while in office was to produce a bastard, half-breed son with his Mexican maid, giving us another 8 years of Jerry the Fairy. But Jerry had a stint ask our state’s Attorney General, and in between his two 8 year terms as governor, he was Oakland’s mayor. Having flunked out at trying to be a Jesuit Priest (He didn’t realize that they would want him to actually work), he latched onto the government tit for the whole of his life, just like “Plugs!”

A friend of mine still lives in Manhattan in a “rent controlled” apartment where he pays $1700 a month, and his landlord is trying to evict him because the apt could rent for $3500 a month, and he probably will get evicted being that NYC is as corrupt as it gets. Yes I heard about the heroin, that cops now carry narcan and call the Long Island Expressway “Heroin highway” from all the heroin busts they do when they pull people over. That’s a direct result of New Yorks lax immigration stance, why MS-13 amassed in Brentwood LI eventually mass murdering 30 kids. The state is the east coast version of California, extreme corruption, insane immigration stance, taxes through the roof, I heard property taxes on LI are something like $15K a year. That’s INSANE!! How can anyone possibly retire there?
That is WILD as hell you met Rod Serling! I LOVE the Twilight zone, I must have watched each episode hundreds of times. I read a book on him once, that he had a heart attack while mowing his lawn and when they got him on the operating table all the arteries to his heart had basically crumbled, they say from the heavy smoking but I think the guy also had a massive amount of stress in life, from when he served in WW2 and then afterwards trying to make it as a writer and then running that show, the guy was a genius without question.
Yeah NY is really messed up, the corruption is unreal, Andrew “evil eyes” Cuomo. NYC is THE absolute worst when it comes to politics. Practically DeBlasios entire term the people there were complaining how bad things were under him, record setting homeless in the street, crime up, transit system totally wrecked, insane housing costs, taxes, and what do they do? THEY REELECT HIM!!!! It’s an insane asylum.
