I turned on the Weather Channel this afternoon, to see what is happening. I couldn’t deal with the guy Chris, his voice is very annoying. Much like “Jamie”, in the Progressive commercials.

Ill be getting out of here early-ish on Monday to avoid the worst of the rain.

See, you’re more disciplined than I am! If I have it in the house, it won’t be here when the hurricane arrives. I always put the chocolate on my last minute list:)

Hi NN,
Well, here we are again in a new season although I think this is coming too soon to suit me. Thank you for being such a beacon for those of us in storm land. It is very much appreciated here!
My blueberries are just now coming in and ripening. Hopefully, they won’t blow away and ruin my harvest.

Hi NN thanks for doing this its much appreciated! We have had rain and gusting winds all night here in the Upper Keys.At Molasses reef buoy offshore of Key Largo we had gusts to 36 knots, over 40 mph at 4:00 am accompanied by lots of rain.
The buoy at the Dry Tortugas shows peak gust of 33/34 knots with a barometer of 29.61 and air temp of 80.1 which is more than enough to sustain this thing if indeed it uses warm water! I'm still confused as to what grows this storm.

I'm still confused as to what grows this storm.Chalk it up to the Trump Hurricane Machine.
Thanks for your valuable local info. The 0500 NHC Discussion reports the storm has, indeed, developed some tropical characteristics.
Great to have you back for another episode of the silly season!
