President Trump signed three executive orders Friday containing sweeping reforms that weaken protections for federal workers and eliminate perks for the unions that represent them.
Under the new executive orders, unions will be charged rent for federal office space and will not be reimbursed for travel expenses or for hours spent appealing worker firings.
All federal workers will be ordered to spend 75 percent of their time on government work, and agencies are ordered to publicly post union contracts in an online repository.

Walk around all day versus the job they were hired for. Presidents of the local and stewards didn’t work at all. This EO from Trump is AWESOME ! Almost sad I’m retired and not there to see they’re heads exploding. Nice !
How much did they have to do before?!
During my Federal employment several decades ago, the answer to the question, “how many people work here” was the same as the answer to the old Johnny Hart question, “how many criminal lawyers are there in this town?”
Namely... “about half”.
Supervisor: Mr. Smart. You were hired to work on this system at this pay. Now we want you to also work on these other two systems.
Mr. Smart: You want to triple my work load?
Supervisor: Yes.
Mr. Smart: You going to give me a raise for tripling my workload?
Supervisor: No.
Mr. Smart: Well, I’m not doing triple the work without more money.
Supervisor: Then your actions will be reflected in your yearly appraisal.
This is how civil service works. Management demands more and more from you without the pay. My manager stated that “if it wasn’t for HR, I could do a lot more”. Meaning he would screw over his employees relentlessly.
Actually you DO NOT have to be a member of the union to work in Federal Civil Service - it is NOT compulsory as many believe! Federal Government IS RIGHT TO WORK!

75%? If you work for any business, you are supposed to actually WORK, taking 25% “time off” would easily get you reprimanded or fired, as it should be. So, the 25% time off should come out of you wages. Why should I be forced to have to hire someone to make up that 25% YOU don’t work?
Better solution, cut the salary by 25%.
