Man opens fire inside Oklahoma restaurant before 'armed citizen' shoots, kills him, police say

A man “opened fire” Thursday in an Oklahoma restaurant and injured at least two people before he was fatally shot by a bystander, police said.

The gunfire unfolded at about 6:30 p.m. local time inside Louie's on the Lake in Oklahoma City, Fox 25 News reported.

The unidentified shooter entered the restaurant and fired his gun, hitting at least two people, Oklahoma City Police tweeted. The man, police said, "was apparently shot-to-death by an armed citizen."

Would someone please explain to my why teachers and employees that wish to be armed are prevented from being armed in some schools.

If we had a shooting situation in a school and many armed teachers and employees came forward in defense we would not have the carnage of a free fire zone for the bad guy. Some may go down before the threat is neutralized. Some going down is many times better than general carnage of many.
