He's probably been a CIA-FBI asset for most of his adult life, just like Stefan Halper. I believe you are correct. I would like to see Devin Nunes and Chuck Grassley subpoena Carter Page's bank records and have him testify about all of his work for the U.S. Government.

When ‘Comey, Clapper, and Brennan are sentenced to prison I want their sentences served in countries where ‘intelligence services and other ‘elites’’ pick the country's leaders.
In short, corrupt totalitarian hellholes.
Comey, Clapper, Brennan et al should serve prison time in the kind of country they wanted to turn the United States into... Almost any corrupt African country would qualify and most third world hellholes...

James Clapper will be giving a talk to a sold out liberal audience tonight at the Sebastiani Theater in downtown Sonoma California. I doubt a single protester of any political stripe will be in attendance.
