On today’s Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough gave us a glimpse of just how corrosive hate can be. As the show was going to a break, a visibly angry Scarborough, reacting to recent criticism of the show’s one-note Trump-hating samba, railed at his own audience:
“If you’re thinking: it’s just one note. Morning Joe is just one note. Yeah! Yeah, guess what? A fire department has one focus when there’s a four-alarm fire. All right? So if you don’t want to hear the truth, you can change the channel!”

People quit watching (or listening) for many reasons. The commentator going on and on about the same thing (even if you agree with them) gets boring.
I quit listening to Rush Limbaugh years ago for that reason. Got out of the habit and now only catch him once and a while.
Angry Joe will lose some of his audience if he keeps it up.
Joe seems to have forgotten what his job is, which is to sell things. Becoming a hateful man will only get you so many viewer but will also turn off more potential viewers.
What he does not understand, his core viewers agree with him, he does not have to convert them to his side. Those that don’t agree with him will either not watch or if they do happen to tune it will quickly tune out. So he is no longer informing, or educating or converting anyone. One other thing he is not doing is being entertaining.
The people paying the bills may not like his advice for his few viewers to “change the channel”
Yep, Ole Joe is blowing a gasket the narrative that he gets from his 4am talking points email is failing miserably.

Jesus could re-appear on the White House front lawn, and they wouldn’t find time to discuss it... except, maybe to question how much Trump is spending on security.

Morning Joe was never hired in my house so I can’t fire them. Pity; it would feel so good.
I hear they are dropping the show. Not sure if that’s a rumor or true yet though.

Fun watching 'elite' phonies with their genuflecting to British accents. A subset of an 'age of Aquarius' 60's "religion" based on shallowness - how a person dresses - holds the 'correct' thoughts, is accepted into 'polite society' - whatever the hell they mean by that... haters anonymous?
It's soooooooo "bitchy high school girls" stuff... Yeah we could turn away - change the channel - but it's more fun to laugh at them. Then critique the idiots.

Hey Joe that massive clicking sound you hear is millions of people turning off your TV show. CNN has fewer viewers than the Cartoon Network and I expect their bankruptcy
