Good for them. Couples should be able to have as many, or as few, children as they choose.

Little by little, God is breaking down barriers to to truth and freedom.

What's next China, Christianity?

China is a very, very LONG way from accepting Christianity.

For real.

Government is over everything there. Even the Church, currently recognizes the state as omnipotent there.

The Church itself, is currently recognizing the state as omnipotent. There is a very, very, very long way to go there.

For real.

China obviously disagreed.

Too little too late.

Gonna take them decades to build up sustainable population numbers, particularly of females.

The gender imbalance in China is around 33.5 million more men than women. Because of the one child policy, only recently changed to a limit of two, millions and millions of baby girls as well as subsequent unborn children of both genders gave been aborted or killed at birth.

Agreed. Not in our free society. But China ain’t a free society. And the populations of places like China and India overburdens the resources.

The more the crap-holes of the world burgeon out the more they will look at us to steal resources and tell us we use an unfair share.

They just want a larger work force, and a larger military.
This has absolutely nothing to do with God.

China is not a crap-hole. It is actually a very modern country. There is actually more entrepreneurial spirit there than in the USA.

I believed they have already relaxed the enforcement of limited number of children several years ago. The problem is, after years of propaganda against having more then one child it is ingrained in their psychic.

Their one child policy has created a nightmare for China. First, because every family wants a BOY, girls are aborted or discarded. They are discovering the unintended consequence of this policy is that men can not find wifes!

Another problem they have is the same with Western Nations that have encouraged abortion and small families, there are not reproducing themselves to take care of their aging population.

Remember - socialism is a Ponzi scheme. More and more people must be brought in to the system to support those already in. This is why the leaders of many nations have opened their borders. They have the ill conceived notion they can allow millions of people into a nation without it affecting their culture.

So once again we are seeing how communism (and socialism) ideals can destroy nations (all in the name of fairness and compassion)

I thought they already scrapped it. Maybe that was just in rural areas.

China is a very, very LONG way from accepting Christianity.

Perhaps.

God works in mysterious ways. There are millions in China who are waiting for the "good news." God knows who they are and is preparing a way for them to come unto Him.

Whether it comes about step by step (cracks in China's tyrannical system are beginning to emerge already), or all at once, only God knows.

It’s obvious that at around 2050, China would become a nation of OLD PEOPLE.......................

This has absolutely nothing to do with God.

But God has something to do with it (enabling potential Christians to find their way to Him).

God knows his sheep, and they will hear his voice--despite how tyrants and other evil men try to prevent them.

It will be interesting to see how God does it.

China’s central planners and marxist social engineers have realized the errors of previous marxist, aggressive social-engineering, and they are facing a rapidly declining work-force and aging population. These are all elements of state power and wealth, so they are therefore concerned.

Its too late though. They have created a completely amoral, materialist society where the cost to have, raise and educate a child also has become very expensive.

They will remain Marxists, continue to seek centralized power, and continue to mess-around with society and nature in the future as they see fit.

I don’t know.

Now my experience with China is somewhat limited, I lived there a long time ago, just after they opened to the outside world. WAY before the trade mess even started.

But then anyway, the Chinese did not seem to have any inclination, to go to church.

That may have changed. It was a long time ago now. But I don’t think it really has, much. The government is in charge there. It just is.

Different culture.

I think you see more religious expression in Taiwan and overseas. Because, I think, there is more religious expression in Taiwan and overseas.

You get more, because there is more.

I do not think China is the place to grow a big religious culture, at least not a religion like Christianity.

I just don’t see it.

Maybe I am wrong. But I don’t see it.
