We put armed guards in banks where our money resides for safe keeping, are our children not more important than our money?
“Our children are sitting ducks in their schools these days.”
And the Libs love it. They hope and pray for more of these shootings because they think it gets them closer to their ultimate goal of civilian disarmament. What’s a few hundred more kids when they’ve already killed millions thru abortion. AND, once America is disarmed, the real killing will begin. Conservatives will be hunted down and killed on the spot. Forget the cattle cars; forget the internment camps. Mass graves will be the Plan of the Day.
DAY OF WRATH by William Forstchen.
Nothing is 100% foolproof but a metal detector and armed security are pretty effective.
The leftists and the politicians use the excuse that armed guards and metal detectors are “too expensive.” All they have to do to solve that problem is fire the layers of beaurocrats being paid $150,000 a year to indoctrinate our kids in left wing ideologies.
People need to focus on what’s really important and pass on the materialism.
Most of family’s second income is spent on extra clothes for work, more convenience foods and eating out, daycare and babysitters, and a myriad of other little extra expenses that re incurred.
It CAN be done and I know plenty of homeschool families who did it on one income and were by the world’s standards, poor.
Someone just has to want to do it bad enough.
Besides, for those few who literally cannot do it, the kids would be better off NOT being in school at all.
Not by any accounts I've read.
He was a student at the high school he shot up.
Care to provide the evidence that he was homeschooled?
What an intelligent, concise public school rebuttal.
And that doesn't stop prisoners in prisons from killing each other.
Is that really what we want to turn our public schools into?
That needs to be the mantra of every right-thinking American in the face of this never-ending onslaught by the gun-grabbers.
Playing defense and discussing "common-sense gun control is a losing strategy.
Are you really trying to equate prisons with schools? Seriously? LOL!
It’s a proven fact that schools with metal detectors and armed security have few problems. Inner city schools all have this stuff. When was the last time you saw a mass shooting at an inner city school? How about never.
Most of familys second income is spent on extra clothes for work, more convenience foods and eating out, daycare and babysitters, and a myriad of other little extra expenses that re incurred.
Another broad and unjustifiable BS statement.
Dont waste your time.
It's not the shooting that equates the public schools with prisons, but the armed guards and metal detectors.
I've been in one of Syracuse city school's finest, with armed guards and metal detectors.
Everything is locked. If you want to go to the bathroom, an armed guard escorts you to the bathroom, unlocks it,, checks it before leaving you there, and waits until you're done so he can lock it up again, and then escorts you back to the room you were in.
Last I checked, at least prisoners can use the john without being escorted.
Yeah, schools with armed guards and metal detectors are a prison because that's what you have to do to get into a prison to visit an inmate.
When was the last time you saw a mass shooting at an inner city school?
Does the name *Parkland* ring a bell?
Lots of good that armed security guard did, didn't he?
Well, the accounting works.
Maybe a net increase of 25% over one income , which can be made up with a stay at home mom who does the housekeeping etc, herself, like the rest of us homeschoolers did.
And besides, as was pointed out upthread, part time jobs can help supplement enough income.
Sneer away, but it can be done if the parents want to, if they put enough value on their children instead of the free daycare.
You took the words right out of my mouth.
You wish.
There’s lots of information on the difference on the internet if you’d bother to research it.
Here’s one example.....
