A lawyer representing former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe issued a sharp rebuke of President Trump on Friday after the president continued hammering the former No. FBI official on Twitter.
“What prompts you to defame the McCabes every two weeks or so?” Michael Bromwich, a lawyer for McCabe, wrote on Twitter.
“There was no quid pro quo, as you falsely suggest. There was no misuse of campaign funds, as you have repeatedly and falsely suggested. You need to stop lying about the McCabes.”

Every time a Dem says Trump lies, more people believe it. Truth is destroyed every time a person lies. As was famously once said (by someone whose life was destroyed by his political enemies) ‘where do I go to get my reputation back?’.

I went through that with someone at the bar tonight. He was like oh yeah I hate Trump, he’s such a liar. I said what has he lied about? Well, everything. Give me one thing? Well he lied about how many people came to his inauguration. I was like really? Let’s just not continue this discussion, it will not go well.

The McCabes have no “fame” that can be defamed. At best they have infamy and notoriety.
And even if he doesn't want...
The kind that knows he can't exonerate his client in court.
Rumor control has it that the IG report will not look favorably on McCabe.
Whether the McCabe’s diverted for personal use the campaign funds Hillary gave them is not known to me. I think most of the funds were squandered on promoting the Democrat brand with consultants and ads; hopefully there will be audits to sort that out. But it’s irrelevant.
Fully funding the wife’s campaign for State Senator, which McCabe patently supported, is a bribe on the face of it. He failed to include it in required disclosures. He failed to recuse himself from criminal investigations of the source, Hillary Clinton. Do McCabe and his lawyer actually maintain that funding an entire campaign has no value? I bet most candidates would disagree.
McCabe has two people to thank for ruining his career and public reputation: himself and Hillary Rodham Clinton. Plus an assist by Terry MacAuliffe. Trump’s tweets are a flashlight, and McCabe is scurrying with the roaches.
And that his "Son of TeeVee" problem would be solved at the same time.

Give McCabe a break.
How was he to know that President Trump was going to get this upset over him, Strzok and Page plotting to take him (Trump) out?
If they knew that Trump was going to get upset and start retaliating they would have just gone ahead and rubbed him out like they planned.
