More than half a million illegal immigrants of several dozen nationalities have been apprehended on John Ladd’s sprawling cattle ranch in southeastern Arizona. Ladd has also found 14 dead bodies on his 16,500-acre farm, which has been in his family for well over a century and sits between the Mexican border and historic State Route 92. The property shares a 10 ½-mile border with Mexico, making it a popular route for human and drug smugglers evading a meager force of Border Patrol agents in the mountainous region. “As big as that number sounds, many more got away,” said National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd of the hundreds of thousands arrested on Ladd’s parcel.

I laugh everytime I think about Mexico in the reverse situation. Do you think for one minute they would welcome Americanos into their country? Only if they are tourists. Only if they are tourists. Last I knew we couldn’t even overstay our allotted time to visit without being arrested and going to the hoose gow.

I used to go to that very area many times. The border road is dirt and is at most places feet from the line.
Across the line about 8 or more miles east of Naco, there is a Mexican railroad line that arcs up and is very close to the linè. Further south of that is grove of trees and the crumbling walls of an old adobe ranch house which had been a dairy ranch with a well.
I have seen the train come up to that point and slow way down. I have heard that huge numbers of illegals hide in that house and rush the border when they see the B.P. drive out of sight. I have seen the illegals r4,rush the border one time also.
Because of the posted interview, I have reason t think that such activities are still happening and perhaps at mt many other points between Naco and Douglas.
Droves of illegals jumping of the train and invading our country facilitated by, or winked at by, the train company and ignored by the Mexican government approaches an act of aggression.

I want PresidentTrump to make a list of things he can do to secure the border without any help from Congress and then get all of those things done before Summer begins.

The President has the authority to declare a national emergency and stop this crap via Executive Order. I agree with bankwalker. There's something very wrong here. A year and a half into Trump's presidency and the problem is worse than when he took office?

I wish I knew. It would seem to me that Trump, as the commander-in-chief, has the authority to send thousands of federal troops to the border. And this would cost the country next to nothing. Because you’ve got to pay and feed those troops whether they’re in barracks or at the border.
But there is no action in that regard. Instead all we hear about is activating a few hundred Guard troops.
Why hasn’t Trump sent thousands of federal troops to the border? Has someone in Congress told him that they’ll defund those troops if that happened?
We actually have two differing illegals problem. Those crossing
the Southern border and those that come in from the West Coast. The
west coasters come in legally by Visa, etc but don’t leave when it
expires. Those numbers are now as high or higher per year as the
southern border illegal numbers.
We have a major problem for sure.
Not if I was tried by a jury of my peers.
