FBI working to soften potential blow if top-secret informant is exposed: report

The FBI has been working in recent weeks to soften the blow if the identity of a top-secret informant who fed information to investigators early on in the Russia investigation is revealed.

The Washington Post reported on Thursday that FBI officials have been taking steps to reduce the potential damage to other investigations the informant is involved in and protect associates, in the event that the source is outed.

The scramble to mitigate the potential harm comes as allies of President Trump hone in on the informant's role in the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The outrage and unbelief of the left and the media when Trump stated that Obama "wire tapped" Trump Tower and the Trump Campaign was well founded. No way it happened, how dare Trump accuse the Obama administration of acts that are so severe as to be outlandish and unprecedented in US History. Trump was made out to be the most irresponsible public person ever for the accusations tweeted Obama's way.

But now that the events Trump accused the Obama admin of are shown to be true, somehow the outrage of the accused acts have withered. It goes to show that everyone has been aware of how serious these matters are from the beginning.

3) They cannot be pardoned.

This criminal FBI and CIA was placing SPIES inside the campaign and wiretapping every single electronic thing they did.

I find it hard to believe they didn't spy on the RNC and other republican campaigns. It takes time and planning to subvert someone already inside to be a mole or to place one. If you are planning that far out you are not going to sprinkle a couple of more in the other campaigns?

I am almost afraid to raise these questions because this just keeps getting scarier.
