Actress Roseanne Barr rebuffed her bosses at ABC Entertainment on Tuesday during the fall upfront presentations, promising that the next season of her hit sitcom Roseanne will be even braver and politically timely than the last. Dont worry, #Roseanne show fans-next season will be even braver/funnier/timely than this season, despite what anyone mistakenly says.
Barrs comments come after ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey claimed the shows next season would be less political.
I think that theyre going to stay on the path that they were on towards the end of last season, which is away from politics and towards family, Dungey told reporters on a conference call on Tuesday.
The show has enjoyed historically high ratings since its return to the airwaves in March, earning an impressive 27 million viewers on its debut, while also managing to maintain the majority of its audience since then.
Part of the rebooted Roseannes success may be attributed to its exploration of prominent issues such as Donald Trumps election to the presidency, the effects of illegal immigration, and Muslims living in the United States.
Indeed, the latest episode of the show soberly tackles Americas deadly opioid and drug addiction epidemic.

This Rosanne show is serving as a poll worth taking into account. Probably a better indicator where the American public is than any MSM poll.
If ABC does not want the show, FOX entertainment would pick it up.
“It’s relevant and showcases blue collar America”
I prefer irrelevance.
What does blue collar America look like in its showcase?
Trump landslide in 2020?
YAWN, I read your post.
Is that show still on? (new episodes?)
Fox renewed Tim Allen after Roseanne posted 27 million views in one night.

The show started out well, on trend with the last season of the original series’ numbers, at 18m viewers. It’s now at 10m. I can understand why the show runners are looking to try anything to get its numbers up.

I didn't think so.
His new neighbor was played by Patricia Richardson who was his wife Jill in Home Improvement.
She was doing remodeling work after her husband had rewired their appliances and nearly destroyed the kitchen.
A lot of innuendos regarding her husband between the two of them. And...a friend of his, while wearing a floppy hat, stuck his nose over the backyard fence and said, Hidey-Ho neighbor!" And later made a remark about the ancient Aztecs.
My wife and I were laughing out loud.
At then at the very end of the episode, the neighbor's son made a cameo appearance, Johnathan Taylor Thomas, who played Randy on Home Improvement.
Yawn....you missed a great opportunity to support POTUS/MAGA/AmericaFirst, and, enjoy some good, down to Earth comedy, at the same time.
Are you one of those Resist peeps? Are you resisting all of the above ^ ?
Wow...very cool!! Do you recall which season that episode was from? I’ll have to look for it.
I have a linux based music player set up with 70+GB of music on it. I fire it up in the morning, and it plays all day long.
Season 4 Episode 12.

Oops....also meant to ask which channel or service you watch LMS on.
