Do you think Justify can hold up for a mile and a half ?

I guess your question really is: Assuming Justify wins the Preakness, can he also win the Belmont?

Anything is possible, but most horses, especially recently, that win the Derby and the Preakness do NOT win the Belmont. IMHO, Justify would be the most likely winner of the Belmont but a definite bet-against because of the odds.

yes... that is my question. Unless he’s truly injured, I don’t think there is any way Justify doesn’t win the Preakness.

But, I still have doubts about his ability to extend to 1 1/2 miles... especially if he starts like a rabbit again.

I think fresher horses will likely take him down. Not sure who that will be at this point.
