Democrats, the mainstream media, and left-wing reporters are twisting President Trump’s words in calling MS-13 illegal alien gang members “animals.” During a roundtable discussion of California’s sanctuary state laws, Fresno Sheriff Margaret Mims mentioned to Trump the difficulty of working with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to notify them of an illegal alien MS-13 gang member.
In response, Trump called the MS-13 gang members “animals,” as he’s done in the past MIMS: There could be an MS-13 gang member, I know about, if they don’t reach a threshold, I cannot tell ICE about them. [Emphasis added]
TRUMP: We have people coming into the country — they’re trying to come in, we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy. The dumbest laws, as I said before, the dumbest laws on immigration in the world. So we’re going to take care of it. We’ll get it done. [Emphasis added]
Following the statement by Trump, the Daily Beast published a headline that claimed the president was referring to “some deported immigrants” when he called MS-13 gang members “animals.”
Neoconservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin attacked Trump’s Evangelical supporters, posting a link to a report by The Hill which claimed the president called all illegal aliens “animals.”

The idea that Trump is supposed to “bring people to Christ” as the key part of his job as President, is unbelievable! He’s our President, our secular leader, he cannot and should not represent any particular faith. But I guess you don’t believe in the Constitution either!

I am as fundamentalist (Independent Baptist) as they come, amd I don’t have a problem with Trump whatsoever. Why? Because first of all, he’s elected to be president, not first preacher. I hope you don’t think that in this day and age we’ll ever see someone like Franklin Graham elected to the White House. Second of all, unlike Billy Bob Clinton, he’s so far behaved with relative dignity while in office. The media are the ones who keep focusing on what he may have done with grown women before he was in politics, not him. Thirdly, even if he’s not one of us (Christians), and I’m not in a position to judge that, or when it may have happened if it’s true-are you?- strictly speaking, he’s on our side, at the very least, he’s most definitely not against us, like Obama and the left.
God has often raised up men and used them when they weren’t strictly godly men, as long as those men at least had resepct for the followers of God. It’s talked about in the Old Testament. President Trump has shown nothing but respect for Christians and the Christian roots of this nation-if he’s not one of us, he’s certainly worth praying for to take that step. In the mean time, he is definitely on our side re religious freedom (which Obama was trying his best to undermine). The rats would like to see Christians relegated to the fringes of life in every aspect, while giving full throat to perversion and perverts of every stripe.
You almost sound like an agent provocateur, really, because any conservative Christian will be familiar with how God uses men who may not be Christian themselves, but support Christians, and certainly don’t oppose and undermine their rights. President Trump doesn’t lead my church or my faith life, but he certainly is helping to maintain a country in which I as a Christian am free to be one, openly and without fear.
Trump was not elected as a preacher. You are regurgitating the hate-Christian thoughts of his enemies,

I would submit that the people who sic this scum on our society are the real problem. We can take care of the 13’s all right if given half a chance. But the filthy democrats exploit our clustered political/legal system and inflict the worst filth in the world on us for their vile political purposes.
And we can all remember how that great representative of “Christian values”, Obama, sat in a supposed Christian church for years where the so-called “preacher” spewed hate like “God damn America”, featured a hate-mongering Nation Of Islam leader on the cover of its church newletter, etc. I can remember Obama calling Christians “bitter clingers” to our Bibles (but never a word about Muslims clinging to the Koran). This same Obama had the cross at a putative Christian university covered up when he was to speak there, as if it were garlic to a vampire. The only “Christians” he ever featured during his administration were “Christians” who talked about everything except the tenets of Christianity, the Rick Warren types. Obama had rainbow lights shone upon the White House to proudly express his support of something which God’s Word (and Islam) calls an abomination (except that hrostians won’t kill tou over it, they’ll pray for you instead, which seems to pizz off the left and the sodomites even worse than Muslims throwing sodomites from tall buildings). Obama is aligned with a political party which voted to throw God out of their platform (and I’d like them to understand, they may think that they’re through with God, but God’s not through with them, and their interaction with Him will either be for good on this earth, or for eternal judgment once they die).
If Obama ever did fool around with anyone either before or during political office, we would never know it thanks to the propaganda wing of the left, the American media. Just like they covered for Kennedy (their “all-American” president), and like they tried to help cover for Billy Bob until they couldn’t. These days, I think they’d just continue to ignore it, they’ve become that blatant in their bias.
