DIRTY COP STEPS FORWARD – Admits Leaking Michael Cohen’s Bank Records
The Gateway Pundit ^ | May 16, 2018 | Cristina Laila

Posted on 05/16/2018 9:47:23 PM PDT by Texas Fossil

On April 9, 2018 FBI agents raided the office of one of Trump’s personal lawyers Michael Cohen at the request of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Michael Cohen is President Trump’s personal attorney. The Mueller mob took all of his records and emails.

One month later — Cohen’s financial documents are leaked to the porn star’s shady attorney.

The Treasury Department’s inspector general is investigating how Stormy Daniels’s lawyer Michael Avenatti obtained confidential banking records concerning a company controlled by President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen.

Now this…

A law enforcement official has admitted to leaking Cohen’s bank records.

The name of the leaker is being withheld from the public.

The New Yorker reported:

--

Trial lawyer Robert Barnes weighed in with his prediction:

As forecast, Avenatti obtained his information through an illegal, CRIMINAL LEAK by someone now identified as a “law enforcement official.” Given this source both knew about bank transactions and had access to a government database, this is highly likely either #SDNY or #Mueller. https://t.co/cuReeYc2qn

I don’t think immunity would cover future crimes. This leak would have to be after any immunity deal.

Are you telling me that a Federal Judge leaked the information?

Did you read the details on the New Yorker Article?

I am not convinced a Federal Judge did this.

I briefly skimmed the NYer article. It seems a couple of suspicious activities reports (sars) on Cohen were missing from the files. The cop is presenting himself as a whistleblower. The story is so convoluted, I’m not exactly sure what is going on.

Anyway, here’s the NYer article, which happens to be by Ronan Farrow, the same guy who co-wrote the NYer article on Schneiderman =>

Hi butt, Remember the Q post a day or two ago, “Welcome back Huma”?
An unsealed Weiner indictment might qualify as “now comes the pain”...

Here is the gist of the NYer article =>

“A law-enforcement official released the documents after finding that additional suspicious transactions [by Cohen] did not appear in a government database.”

Yeah, and here's what that "heroic" individual really did:

According to fincen, disclosing a sar is a federal offense, carrying penalties including fines of up to two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and imprisonment for up to five years.

This individual better hope he has some heavy protection, because this is the sort of small fry that get gobbled up first.

Ronan Farrow Story in the New Yorker Details Alleged Donald Trump Affair With Playboy Model

Feb 16, 2018

https://www.tvweek.com/tvbizwire/2018/02/ronan-farrow-story-in-the-new-yorker-details-alleged-donald-trump-affair-with-playboy-model/

Ronan Farrow is hard after Trump. He is mentioned as a network Anchor. Which network? I’ve never heard of him.

He has more detail of Cohen’s transactions than anyone could get legally.

Now that brings us back to attorney Avenatti (porn actress’s attorney). He is said to be under federal investigation about how he got this information.

I’m beginning to believe this is a deeper evil than the DC swamp creatures. It reeks of globalist foreign money zeroing in on Trump because he is destroying their power.

It looks like investigators found sars reports in Cohen’s files, but 2 of those sars reports were apparently missing from the government’s database. He’s claiming to be a whistleblower for exposing this. Beyond that, I’m lost on this story.

Is that how you read it?

The dispute about the files is one issue.

The huge leak of details of the transactions and are another issue. Both are illegal.

This has to be with someone directly involved with the Mueller investigation.

I don’t know enough about the actual process of such investigations. There are some here on FR who do.

They will show up.

So what could motivate him to risk going to a #MeToo federal prison?

An honest civil servant doing his civic duty because it’s the right thing to do? A dirty civil servant who know he’s going to be caught and is making up justifications? Someone with something up his sleeve? If so, then what?
