I Helped Start the Gaza Protests. I Don’t Regret It

The seed that grew into Gaza’s Great Return March was planted Dec. 9, just a few days after President Trump announced he would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Palestinians long have held onto the dream of Jerusalem as our own capital, or at least as a shared capital in a country that offers equal rights to everyone. --SNIP-- It was not a surprise that Israel responded to our march with deadly violence. But I had not expected this level of cruelty. On the other hand, I was heartened by the commitment to nonviolence among most of my own people.

Hamas hoards and steals everything that’s sent to Gaza to help those people ......but Hamas blames Israel for their lack of basic services and economic conditions....the people no longer believe Hamas but because they are terrorists they can’t complain. So their idea is to instigate a conflict with Israel which will wake up UN intervention.....so the revenues will flow one again.

Am I the only one to notice the disproportionate number of mussulmen that have popped up in our news media since 9/11?

Not just those who support Mohammedism, but scores whose names I can't pronounce. The invasion has been a stealthy one.
