McConnell not yet ready to change rules for Trump nominees

enate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) signaled on Tuesday that he isn't ready, yet, to change the rules to speed up votes on President Trump's nominees.

Asked if he would give the proposal a vote, and if he was willing to go "nuclear" to implement the change, the tightlipped GOP leader said, "We'll see."

"We continue to discuss whether that will be necessary. An easier way to deal with all this, however, would be to have greater cooperation and the cooperation has picked up some this year," McConnell told reporters.

Frankly, he doesn't have the votes to do it. The Senate is 51-49, with McCain in Arizona and Collins and Murkowski WILL NOT help get conservative judges confirmed.

But we all know that McConnell simply doesn't want to do it anyway, because Trump's been sending him ONLY conservatives for the bench. So they must be slow-walked...until it becomes apparent that they're being slow walked. Then Mitch moves his ass...a little.

The answer is the eliminate the worthless votes of Collins, Murkowski and McCain with the votes of Barletta, Ward, Morrissey, Renacci, Scott, Hawley, Diehl, Rosendale, etc.

Start working 7 days a week and threaten to have no more adjournments until nominations are acted on. That will get everybodys attention in a hurry.

It is up to us, We The People, who love this country, to demand that our wishes be followed.

We haven’t, apparently, spoken loud and often enough yet for the politicians to get our message. Apparently, November 6, 2016, wasn’t a big and loud enough message. This coming November 2018 must be an even louder message. Send them home.

The only judges that require 60 votes are for the USSC. All others positions requiring Senate confirmation only require a simple majority.

Supreme Court judges do not require 60 votes either.

McConnell is a liar and a fraud. He understands with perfect clarity that the Democrat party is absolutely opposed to every single Trump nominee without consideration. He is a never-Trumper who deeply dislikes the direction Trump is taking the Republican party.

Seems McConnell is stonewalling more than Mueller has, and McConnell is “supposed” to be working to support our “Republican” president. Get with it Mitch, but I doubt you care as you hate Trump and those that voted for him as you are a Deep State GOPe POS.

The only hope we can have is that with his continued successes, Trump can sufficiently frighten the little pansy ass to do things his way.

Senators are elected for life. Their status is measured by comittees and especially chairs. Not much is lost or gained for them when the party in power changes. They are pampered and catered to beyod belief. Perfumed Princes.

Waiting a few years is what they are good at. They’re going to be there for 30 anyway. Or longer. Not ever in a rush.

Most will still be there (or dead) after Trump is long gone. Little will change in their little wolrd. The pampering will not pause.

What fairy land ya living in Mitch? RATS don't like President Trump's picks. You know it, we know and they know it. How 'bout doing what you can, like doing away with the silly 30 hour delay, to help?

We need to rain conservatives on the justice system.

we simply MUST replace McShame Collins Murkowski and maybe a couple more leftist/Socialists in Drag

we need a very well financed PAC fund, with expert campaign leaders... to replace these left-wing votes with more sensible senators!

we are still stuck with ObummoCare, thanks to McShame!
what a crock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mitch needs to go and time to put the hammer on Collins and Murkowski. I can’t believe Murkowski got back in. Open primary?

Mitch may very well be a big part of the problem, not the solution?

I once supported the man, but he’s seemed so leftist and unwilling to lead on some important issues.... ?

I am not there, I am only guessing as best possible from a few news reports... but is Mitch capable and willing to, say, repeal Obamacare...? just taking one serious problem as an example.. is Mitch ready to do it ? or is he happy to sit in his little comfy corner saying he lost the vote so that’s that? I really don’t know.. is there any serious effort by Mitch or anyone else to get rid of Ocare now?
or not?
we read where Mitch was funding, supporting candidates running AGAINST our guys in Alabama and Arizona and?????
those are a couple of votes we NEED to start repairing the Obama/Pelousy damage to America...which side is Mitch on?
