Where is the wall? Where are the deportations?
me too. Catch and release is a joke unless we release them back in their own countries, or Antarctica.
Re: Washington Post
The link is to the Washington Times, which used to be one of the most Conservative newspapers in the country.
I believe it has become more centrist in recent years because of financial problems, plus changes to the executive management team.
Weve surrendered our country to the barbarous horde.

Just think what the natives in 1492 did. Columbus sailed the
ocean blue and this continent hasn’t been the same since. But
change is a part of life, history and the future.
It is, but the huge increase means that many Central Americans no longer fear Trump or the possibility of mass deportations.
This border surge started slowly at the end of 2017, and, after Trump offered Amnesty and a path to citizenship for 1.8 million DACAs, there is really no stopping it now.
Maybe this will light a fire under the senate to fund the wall.
For this year’s budget, the committee in the House approved $10 billion, but by the time things were worked with the Senate, only $1.6 billion got appropriated.
If we get $10 billion in this next budget, we will be off to the races securing the border. (Conventional wisdom says another $1.6 billion is the default for FY 19).
“Nothing but talk from Sessions”
This is the area where he has been the most active (publicly) as Attorney General.
Major policies have been reversed, new policies have been put in place, closing Obama era loopholes that made it difficult and time consuming to deport. Enforcement has been directed as a top priority, and additional resources have been dedicated. Immigration enforcement has begun crowding out other cases in the court system.
More judges are now working immigration cases, and more new judges are being sent to border areas. Judges are now able to close more cases, and to do so more quickly. The backlog has finally stopped growing, and has begun slight decline.
ICE has ramped up their raids, targeting sanctuary cities and violent gangs like MS-13.
Ummmmm - it’s currently the freaking law and the do-nothing Congress refuses to address it - blame Ryan and McConnell for 99% of the campaign promises that haven’t been kept ....yet.
So, you’re okay with the reconquista?
Go to hell.
NO ONE WAS MORE FOR TRUMP THAN I, BUT WHERE IS THE WALL? WHY HAVENT HOSTILE ILLEGAL INVADERS BEEN STOPPED FROM CROSSING OVER OUR BORDERS?
THESE ARE THE ISSUES HE RAN ON. If HE COULDN’T KEEP HIS PROMISES, WHY DID HE MAKE THEM?
I’m BEGINNING TO BE FEARFUL THAT WE’VE BEEN HAD.
I’m only saying that change in the nations/world have been ongoing forever. Be it good,
bad or indifferent.
Sorry, I wasn’t attacking your point.
May God bless you and yours.
Yet another example of what happens when you don’t control your borders.
Sorry for my outburst.
Illegal immigration is a topic that strikes close to home for me. Those effers have literally stolen over a million dollars off my family's table over the last twenty years.
I don't mind legal immigration that directly benefits the American people, but frankly, we've even taken in more legal immigrants in too short a time.
One in seven US residents is foreign born. That's the highest percentage of foreign born in our nation's history.
We're beyond the saturation point. Immigration of all sorts has now become destructive to the national good.
We've got to close the floodgates and reduce the illegal population within our borders, or it's over. Our America will cease to exist.
The problem is not Sessions. The laws under which Justice must work are the problem. No new laws, no new results, just the same old. Dems and RINOs continue to stonewall new legislation.
“...Dems and RINOs continue to stonewall new legislation...”
Their one “mortal” enemy...THE BALLOT BOX...and they are scared to death of it. Protecting their cash flow...
If any of Trump's appointments deserve to be blamed for this, it's Nielsen, not Sessions. I'm surprised Trump selected her, she has a history of having soft views on illegal immigration.
He's done a far better job than Rudy Giuliani, who favors granting citizenship for illegals and who has defended sanctuary cities, would have done. That doesn't stop idiots on this site from saying that Sessions should be replaced by Rudy or the equally pro-amnesty Chris Christie.
