Thats what the city doesn’t grasp about this. Maybe ten-percent of the homeless guys/gals could use a hand up, and regroup....going back to work. In that case, I’d support the city making an effort.
The other 90-percent? Zero interest, mental issues, or too lazy. In this case....I’d pack them up....ship them off 100 miles to the east into some rural community and force them to stay there.

Mine, too. But don’t you love it when their preferred policies (higher taxes to help the homeless, for example) are applied to them, and the squealing begins?
Still bad policy, but the schadenfreude is strong.
