I had a pastor years ago who told an amusing story about 2 Mormon missionaries who struck up a conversation with him. He invited them home and served them dinner. They discussed theology for most of the evening.

Towards the end, one of the Mormons happily told my pastor that, although their faiths differed, in his opinion, by the teaching of Mormonism, my pastor was likely to go to Heaven. My pastor thanked him for this encouraging word.

Then the other Mormon spoke up and asked, “And Sir, do you also feel that we Mormons will be in Heaven as you envision it?”

“Oh, no”, my pastor said. “You’re certainly going to Hell, because you’re not Christians.”

Now wait just a minute. First of all, it's called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints".

Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? If the answer is "yes", then they could—at least theoretically—be considered Christians...

Did they say which LEVEL of Mormon 'heaven' he'd end up on?
