DHS Secretary To Democratic Senator: Fighting Illegal Immigration Is Not A 'Philosophy,'(T)

Call it what you want, but is this not a window into how far left Democrats have gone on immigration? Fighting illegal immigration is a philosophy? Well, that’s what Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) said in a brief, but heated exchange with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who testified before the Senate Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee yesterday.

Sen. Murray wanted to know if DHS was exploring alternative methods other than detention to save taxpayer dollars concerning pregnant women who are caught at the border. Nielsen said that they utilize ankle bracelets, but added that if a pick up repeat offenders of those crossing into the U.S. illegally, or have been charged with a crime worthy of prosecution, they turn them over the marshals. That ends any option for so-called alternative methods to detention. It’s when the DHS secretary reiterated that it’s illegal to enter the U.S. illegally that Murray got snippy (via NTK Network):

These self absorbed assclowns. No wonder this country is in trouble. Between this kind of crap and Gina Haspell having to deal with the "intel" committee. You rock Kirstjen Nielsen.

That question and answer illustrate root cause of our problem. Democrats are just not qualified for border and immigration

“It’s not a philosophy, it’s the law!”

YES!!

Not to Democraps. To them, laws are mere suggestions, hints, broad outlines of what we should do when arresting criminals. That’s a derivative of the “living, breathing constitution” crap they believe. No fixed rules or laws at all. Whatever it takes to get people to vote “D” damn the consequences to the nation.

Loss of confidence in government, violence, riots, antifa, communism and tyranny naturally follow.

Y’all gotta understand.

Illegal aliens influence voting patterns without ever voting - just like slaves did in the Old South.
They can’t vote, but they count for allocating representatives and electors, and for creating districts.
And, unlike slaves, they count 1/1; slaves only counted 3/5.
This is why the Democrats, the party of slavery, love illegal aliens so much. Thanks to illegal aliens, they can create Democrat districts controlled by relatively few voters.

If they really had any interest in saving taxpayer dollars, they would be in FAVOR OF detaining pregnant women, so as to discourage them from coming here in the first place. My guess is that for every pregnant woman who illegally comes to this country, we get at least an entire family on welfare benefits that we, the taxpayers, have to pay for.
