The latest episode of the hit rebooted ABC sitcom Roseanne admirably takes on the issue of illegal immigration and its negative impact on Americas working families and the middle-class. The episode entitled, Meet the Neighbors finds Connor family patriarch Dan lose out on a job for which illegal immigrants had been hired to do for less money.
In a post, Roseanne Barr an avid supporter of President Donald Trump on and off the show hinted that the episode would deal with immigration.

Democrats want to make being an American citizen irrelevant and destroy our culture with their sanctuary cities.
How many believe Barr is REALLY a Trump supporter? She spent decades mocking everything Conservative and publicly hating on Conservative and semi-conservative politicians.
We love America. We no love Americans. We take country now, you go. Bye bye.
I don’t have the time to sit through 30 minutes of it to wait for a 5 second zinger but I’m glad a good portion of America is now being educated-at least exposed to other opinions.
I didn’t like the two Bushes, Romney, McCain either.
Or she's a smart producer and realizes that a large segment of the population that enjoyed her show the first time around aren't being served today, and there's a void that could be filled.
I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt on this, as long as she’s working for our side.
I watched this episode - it also paints her new Yemeni neighbors as being blatantly discriminated against by stupid white people. Yeah right, poor things.
People forget how Rosanne expressed her feeling about America when she sang the National Anthem.

So you are supporting Kanye too...?
I can’t claim to follow Roseanne closely, but my feeling is that she has a real affection and understanding of the “working class” — which isn’t just laborers in a factory.
Going back a couple of decades, it was (I think) a little easier to believe that the Democrats and the Unions supported the workers and the problem was that those evil, rich Republicans just wanted to exploit the workers.
But it’s 2018 now. It’s obvious to a lot of us that the Uniparty is in control. The big political parties and the unions are not looking out for the workers. They all want control of everything and we see that individual freedom and opportunity suffers because of their lust for power.
I think Roseanne sees Trump as a genuine alternative. Trump has affection and understanding of the people who work for a living. This isn’t about Roseanne being a Conservative. This is about American citizens who want a better life for their families. Roseanne gets that. And she knows Trump gets that too.
Being a Trump supporter and a life long Republican are hardly synonymous. In fact, some of the latter have found it very hard to pull off the former. It’s actually people like Barr, or at least the character she portrays, white working-class-conscious folks abused by eight years of Halfrican misrule who got Trump elected.
Can we support Kanye’s message, or do we have to wait until he’s ‘true blue’, as was the case with Donald Trump?
Blue-collar types seem to FINALLY be getting the message that the Democrat Party is not your friend.
Her show is actually a good watch.
She takes on issues and quickly gets to the heart of them. So far, not bad.

I am neutral-ish on Kanye. I think that it helps our side, that he’s pressing some issues and encouraging some people to consider that Democrats are not helping them, in the long run.
People can change, you know.
As they say, “Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future.”
If we want to expand the conservative voting base, we’ve got to be willing to accept into the fold those who have seen the light.
