From the sound of it, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is currently on his deathbed in Arizona to meet with old friends, nurse grudges, and express regrets.
[...]
McCain’s public expression of regret against Palin comes off as ungracious, as well as further proof that he still does not understand why his own presidential campaign failed.
Over the last decade, Palin has been unfailingly loyal to McCain. Despite the malicious leaks against her that came from his own campaign surrogates, despite unrelenting personal attacks from McCain’s own daughter Meghan, Palin has never spoken ill of the elder McCain. She has always and only expressed gratitude and respect, even as McCain’s family and immediate subordinates (all of whom were seeking favor from the media hoping to be rewarded with careers) savaged her purely for mercenary purposes.
Within this context, McCain kicking Palin from his deathbed, when he knows it would be impossible for her to defend herself, edges into an act of dishonorable cruelty on his part.

From the Tea Party to Trump, the GOP has not been the same since Palin strode into the spotlight, and now it is hardly recognizable from the calcified dinosaur McCain loved so. If that is what he regrets, that is a real shame, because on top of his military career, choosing Sarah Palin was the greatest service McCain ever performed for his country.

A reminder to Progressives both left and right.
Be careful what you wish for....
So pathetic. Don’t go away angry McLame...just go away!
Yep Sarah America is all ga-ga over him too.
But the poles will never show it.
I (completely) agree.
100%
John McCain could have been president. He made the right move with selecting Palin as his Vice President.
He was on the right path. Then he buckled. I don’t know why, or how he came to turn against the wondrous lady from Wasilla, but he made a HUGE mistake by not being 100% supportive of everything she stood for.
McCain did himself in. He would have won, but he blew it.
Sorry. But that is the way I see it.
He had it all. He was brilliant.
But he turned against her.
I will never understand why, he did that.
The only good thing he ever did. Kind of a broken clock moment.
Sarah Palin was the only reason I voted for McCain and I know loads of friends who say the same thing. Other than her, I could have given a s^^^ about the lot of them - McCain, his staff and the Republican Establishment, worthless sycophants of the Deep State.
God bless you Sarah!
A class act like Palin would have risen to the top eventually. If anything, wing associates with a loser like Mclame hurt her.
Mclame has never shown anything but contempt and jealousy for Sarah, despite her presence being all that stopped the GOP losing a 1964 style landslide
McCain would have gotten slaughtered, instead of just beaten without
Palin on the ticket.
Sarah was Trump before Trump
In lieu of sympathy cards, everyone should send Cindy McCain thank you notes for her husband’s choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate. Or would that make her go back to using drugs?
When I heard Trump’s first campaign rally I said to myself “man this guy sounds like Sarah Palin”. Boarded the Trump train that day and am still riding on it with a smile on my face, thinking of you Sarah.
KcuF McCain....
Petty Punk....
Palin was the only thing that gave him half a chance. I know I was staying home. I didn’t vote for McCain, I voted for Palin.
Its very clear to me that McCain was jealous of Palin. She was far more popuar that he ever was or ever would be and he simply could not have that.
Was he listening to Kuhner yesterday. Go to the 30:00 mark...
He was jealous of her popularity. Simple as that. He’s jealous of everyone who is a winner...since he’s such a loser himself.
Cool kids (like Admiral McCain's son, any Kennebunkport Kreep, the John Kerrys and Bob Muellers, etc) hated Palin for the same reaon they hate us. They loved - or at least tolerated - Donald Trump until he embraced people like us.
