Nearly half of the Democratic National Committee's staff are now people of color and 51 percent are women, according to a new report to be published by the DNC Monday.
The report was prepared as the party responds to criticism that it has taken minority voters for granted while overlooking them for jobs and contracts.
The DNC became more diverse as it staffed back up after its post-2016 election lull, seeing a big jump in the number of Latinos (from 5 to 22) and smaller increases in the number of African-Americans (from 22 to 30), Asian-American/Pacific Islanders and LGBTQ people (from 14 to 19).
Overall, 44 percent of DNC staffers are people of color, according to the report obtained by NBC News, and 70 percent of department heads are now women.
Party officials, who are elected by the entire DNC, are more diverse than ever, as well, with a two-fold increase in the number of African Americans among the partys top elective ranks.
"Our mission is not complete, but weve made unprecedented progress," wrote DNC Chief Operating Officer Laura Chambers, who prepared the report.

What a transparent move as usual by the Dems. Instead of hiring the Best and the Brightest the DNC figures the darker the better, regardless of ability. Affirmative action being turned on the white elites running the DNC. How ironic!
What percentage of their deep-pocket donors are women and people of color? Does it reflect our nation’s diversity? I didn’t think so.
Ah the DNC, party of illegal aliens, and islam.
This is an admission of dysfunction by the DNC. Either the new hires are equally qualified compared to the people they replaced, in which case the DNC is racist; or, the new hires are token hires who are not as skilled as their predecessors, in which case the DNC is now going to be run less well (and they have now tacitly admitted that diversity hires can’t compete with whites/men).
Doubling down on the actual problem. What could go wrong?

Well, if “diversity is strength” truly, as they say it is, then we now have a nice experiment to test that theory.
Who cares about the DNC affirmative action hires. Certainly not those who are really qualified and now LEFT out in the cold:-)
So they are hiring by skin color and chromosomes instead of skill and resourcefulness. What could go wrong?

Perfect. The more the Democrats hitch their future to Hilary, Maxine W, DWS, Nancy P, Keith Ellison and Tom Perez, the more unlikely that they will regain power in Washington. And that is in spite of the Never Trumpers’ efforts to hand them the midterm elections.
Dont let that fool you. They will just hire subcontractors that are competent to do the real work. But their quota hires will get the credit for “managing” the projects.
