Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Ohio and Michigan.

Indiana is going through a very divisive primary. The Republicans have all been running ads tearing down their opponents and regardless who the winner is you have a divided base and loads of ammunition given to the Democrat. Admittedly this is the one I think most likely to flip but it was GOP screw-ups six years ago that lost it in the first place. Don't be so sure that they've learned since then.

In Missouri Hawley is the current AG and is involved with prosecuting the sitting Republican governor. There is no way he comes out looking good on that. If Greitens is impeached then Hawley has to handle that. If Greitens resigns, unlikely but possible, then his supporters aren't all that happy with Hawley either. Add to that the fact that Hawley has run for only one election in his life, the AG race. He may not be ready for prime time. He's already made some minor verbal gaffs. A self destruction ala Todd Akin is not out of the realm of possibilities. He can win but he needs to run a flawless campaign. Can he?

In Montana Tester has already won twice in a state that has gone for a Democrat president once since 1964 - and that was because Perot split the vote. He's known, people like him, and his opponents are not really big names in the state regardless of who wins. Tester will likely win a very close race, but he'll win it.

In Ohio and Michigan neither Brown or Stabinow has a strong candidate to run against them.

Oh, and West Virginia depends on who wins tomorrow. If it’s Blakenship then Manchin can sign a six year lease on D.C. property.

Ha ha ha ha ha EVERY indicator shows the evil donkey is heading for an epic ass kicking in November. This is wishful thinking that the can sell Americans on repealing the Second Amendment repeal Trump’s tax cuts impeach Trump and his 51% approval, erase the southern border and force White Christians to pay slave reparations all while Blacks and young voters are walking away from Democrats and unmarried women are not excited to vote. Oh and don’t forget 3.9% unemployment and large registration gains (only reported by Freeper LS) by Republicans in swing states. The Republicans do not deserve to win but they will win BIGLY anyway.

FR copyright issues, but good info from Bloomberg:

Key Democratic committees and super-PACs also dominating.

I used to listen to NPR a lot on my 3 hour round trip commute. I bounced between it and my bible on a thumb drive. But then I got unlimited data on my phone. Now I listen to bible studies, ben Shapiro speeches, etc on youtube on my commute. I’ve not tuned into NPR since last summer.

Truth be told, they were only good for comic relief anyway.

The first term, mid-term setback for the party with a new President in the White House, is largely a reaction against over-reach.

When a new administration pushes partisan policies as payback for supporters, or due to their ideological over-enthusiasm, they tend to worry the broad center. That’s what mainly drives a reaction in the mid terms (beyond the economic cycle).

Trump’s defining policies so far, controlling immigration, cutting taxes, reducing regulations and improving trade deals; don’t really seem to be driving public concern from the center, that he needs to be restrained from those policies. Quite the contrary.

yup...demoKrat enthusiasm is not the problem- Conservative apathy due to the leadership of the RINO’s and GOPe is a much bigger issue...

I still stand by my prediction. emoncRATS will pick up 40+ house seats and gain 3 or 4 senate seats.

The congressional Republicans are a national joke.

Try listening, on Saturday, to “Wait, wait, don’t tell me”. It’s supposed to be funny but it epitomizes everything wrong with the avid NPR listener mindset. The overly politicized humor is so heavy handed that it makes Prairie Home Companion look like comedy gold.

Democrats’ so called “assured” Blue wave, 2018 Election Dreams Could End Up as a Blue Wave Nightmare! If they were on track to beat us, the DNC would not be borrowing money.

Dems take out nearly $2M loan | GOP https://gop.com/dems-take-out-nearly-2m-loan/ Mar 21, 2018 - ... cash-strapped DNC disclosed it borrowed almost $2 MILLION to keep the lights on. Debt under DNC Chair Tom Perez has now ballooned to over $6 MILLION. When confronted, Perez complains: “They've got a lot more rich donors than we do.”

Republicans would not be off to an auspicious start if they decide to shoot themselves in the foot in West Virginia tomorrow and nominate Blankenship to run against Manchin.
