New reports reveal a deadly wave of gun violence in Chicago. A 15-year old boy, a young mother, and even a four-year-old girl sitting on her porch have all been shot dead.
These are just a few of the nearly 40 people who were gunned down in Chicago over a mere three-day period this week.
This level of violence is usually not seen until the middle of summer in Chicago, but as temperatures reached into the 80’s this week criminals were drawn into the streets.
On Monday, one person was shot dead and nine others were wounded. A day later, 12 people were hit by gunfire in a 12-hour period.
However, Wednesday was the worst of all with at least 14 people shot in just nine-hours. This included a 15-year-old boy who was shot in the head while riding the bus home from school.

Trump should declare it a failed city and declare Martial Law, Occupy the city, suspend all laws until order is established. Curfews, house to house search for illegal guns, Illegal gang bangers, Drugs, All things illegal. Mayor investigated—any corruption found—city leaders arrested. Clean sweep—make Chicago Safe again.

The Navy put a college friend of mine through med school. He became an anesthesiologist and was based in San Diego. He got his ER training in LA because it had the most trauma (car wrecks) and gunshot practice on the West Coast. He said the armed services doctors do all their ER training for new residents at big city hospitals.
Unfortunately at that pace it’ll still take about 554 years to run out of people in Chicago.

Our population is being degraded. The nation's debt is possibly beyond repair. The cancer is spreading to ever more regions. How does anything except collapse of the nation save parts of it?

I know! Maybe they should pass more bans on guns. I’m sure murderers, rapists, burglars and drug dealers would respect those laws even though they don’t respect any of the other laws.

Yes, I fully understand and share your concerns. And I hate to have to say it, but truthfully I don’t hold out much hope that there will be any major reversal of our country’s downward spiral. Our current President will do his best to combat our adversaries, but it looks like a lost cause to me.
