Fox News host Neil Cavuto delivered a closing monologue Thursday questioning President Donald Trump’s habit of calling news stories “fake news” while the President lies frequently and leaves false facts uncorrected.
“How can you drain the swamp if you’re the one that keeps muddying the waters?” Cavuto asked. “I guess you’re too busy draining the swamp to ever stop and smell the stink you’re creating. That’s your stink. Mr. President, that’s your swamp.”

Depends on what you mean by “conservatives”. There are so many schools of thought that call themselves that.
There’s the security conservatives who will invade privacy or empower police and the military to feel safe.
There’s the neoconservatives who profiteer from war.
There are the cheap labor globalist chamber of commerce America Last so-called conservatives.
There’s the constitutional conservatives who are the real conservatives.
There’s the small government conservatives who will reduce taxes first and ask questions later - they are real conservatives.
There’s the fiscal conservatives who will raise taxes to avoid a deficit - not conservative.
There’s the religious right conservatives who will take away people’s rights based on the bible - not conservative.
There’s the 2nd amendment conservatives who are a type of constitutional conservative and therefore true conservatives.
The list goes on - the only true conservatives want to follow the constitution, and thereby limit the size and scope of government.
Cavuto hates Trump. Does anyone remember who it was that gave Romney a platform to accuse Donald Trump of having “bombshells” in his tax returns? Cavuto gave Romney as long as he needed to slander Trump.
Then if you remember during the primaries Cavuto would have a panel on with the very awful Charlie Gasperino and the two of them would slam Trump. Gasperino was usually drunk and very rude to any women on the panel.
I haven’t watched Cavuto since and will not in the future.

Cavuto was a big time Never Trumper! He and Gasbagrino spend most of his show trashing Trump. Only libs insist Trump lies all the time. Watch his election night coverage. He is miserable and keeps crowing how the stock market is dropping.

I quit trusting and watching Cavuto years ago.
I listened to Cavuto’s rant. Almost every point was lame and he had to take things out of context or twist the context around, putting cart in front of horse, to make his complaints sound logical.
Impressive demagoguery, Neil! Certain to impress those who don’t know the backstory on each of your points anyway.
Cavuto is consistently biased against Trump. I heard him say he is neither red nor blue but he seems to me like a NeverTrumper from the beginning.

Cavuto does not like Trump. I figured that out quite some time ago as in back during Trump’s campaign for President. At the time I was disappointed, as I was under the impression that Cavuto is a conservative. Since then, I have observed several times over the few times I have seen his show on Fox Business. He has left a trail of negative comments about Trump. Well, OK. For me it is simple, as once I realized his anti-Trumpism, I stopped watching his show.
Frankly I was shocking ed at Cavuto. He must be owned by someone.
As with Obama. And even Bill Clinton. And sadly, many folks here think the same about Trump. :(

I am the same as you. I used to watch him before Trump came on the scene. It is now clear, that he is totally against Trump trying to reduce huge trade surplus with the only instrument Trump has, which is threat of tariffs. Every time talk of tariffs is in the news, the stock market dips, and Cavuto is all about his stock portfolio, nothing more.
Cavuto was not openly against Trump UNTIL >>> Trump began efforts to reduce trade deficits using Tariffs. That hurts his stock portfolio. That is all that matters to Cavuto. May be he is from the globalist cabal, which includes the Bushes, Paul Ryan, and most of the old timers in GOPe.
