North Korea has released three US detainees in the country, according to media reports, and it meets some of President Donald Trump demands for Pyongyang to demonstrate sincerity before its upcoming US summit. Kim Dong-cheol, Kim Sang-deok, and Kim Hak-seong — three US citizens detained in North Korea for years — have been released from a suspected labor camp and given health treatment and ideological education in Pyongyang. The news follows Trump's hawkish National Security Adviser, John Bolton, calling for the release of the detainees as a way for North Korea to demonstrate its sincerity in talks. "We heard it through our sources in North Korea late last month. We believe that Mr Trump can take them back on the day of the US-North Korea summit or he can send an envoy to take them back to the US before the summit," said Choi Sung-ryong, who campaigns for the release of detainees in North Korea.

Trump needs to demand that NK release the remains of all US troops killed during the war. I’ve heard that NK has a warehouse full of remains, that they dole out a few each year.

I think a lot of it is the Trump and Chinese leaders relationship, can you imagine what may happen if those two work out a lot of issues over the next 6 years!

Yes. A relative’s brother went MIA there, thought to have been taken to a Chinese POW camp. She in her 80s now, would be good if he would come home in her lifetime.

Exactly, besides, they are pis*ed off because they wanted the Mueller subpoena story to get legs and dirty up Trump's image, now that's off page one.
It's big, but they only announced that they "will be released at the summit" as part of the "pomp and circumstance", "dog and pony show", or whatever they turn it into. So far, no date for said summit. So, they are still bargaining chips, just raised to a higher profile. Good news no doubt, but they are not home yet...
