Does that mean 3 people survived? I heard 5 were aboard.
All 5 passengers are now confirmed dead.
Yes - according to the reporter. Video is very informative.

A C-130 Hercules cargo plane from Puerto Rico Air National Guard has crashed near the intersection of Ga. 21 and Crossgate Road in Savannah. According to the Chatham County Coroner, two people are dead.
According to a press release from Jeffrey Bezore, Wing Executive Officer 165th Airlift Wing, the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. during a training mission with five people on board.
Mark Jones was near the intersection of Highway 21 and Gulfstream Road when he noticed the plane low in the air.
I could see (the plane) above the tree line and it looked kind of low like it was curving in toward street, but I see them all the time, so I didnt think anything of it, Jones said.
I looked down and then looked back up and it didnt look like it nosedived, but it almost looked like it stalled and just went almost flat right there in the middle of the highway.
Jones said the explosion happened immediately upon impact and believes the plane could have landed on cars.
There were definitely cars going both ways... Most people stopped and got out of their cars, he said.
Im still shook up and shaking. My stomach is in knots because I know theyre people just like me. I wasnt that far from it and I could have just kept going and it would have been me and we wouldnt be talking right now. They were just people driving to where ever and not expecting something like that to happen.
Sorry - I may have spoken too soon. The post I saw that confirmed 5 dead was removed.

Aweful!
Allegedly enroute to Davis Monthan AFB boneyard ...... (allegedly) Prayers for the crew and they’re families.
Oh, no. Prayers up.
Tears
Another down payment on the very high price of freedom. I pray that God will give the families of those killed the strength and courage to face these terrible days ahead. I also pray for those survivors that they will recover and continue to protect our nation. God bless them all.
RIP.
If the aircraft was headed for the Boneyard (and retirement from active service), that only compounds the tragedy. Prayers for those airmen and their loved ones, from someone who flew aging Herks back in the day.
Various databases indicate the aircraft was a weather recce bird for much of its career, assigned to the famous “Hurricane Hunters” of the 53rd WRS at Keesler AFB, MS. When that squadron upgraded to the newer J model, some of the older WC-13oH’s were transferred to the Puerto Rico ANG. Reportedly, the PR unit has some of the oldest Herks in the inventory, and it’s quite likely the 53-year-old bird was heading to D-M for final disposal in the Boneyard.
Damn. Just, damn.
RIP 5 American patriots.
