NEW YORK (AP) — For 108 years, the Boy Scouts of America’s flagship program has been known simply as the Boy Scouts. With girls soon entering the ranks, the group says that iconic name will change.
The organization on Wednesday announced a new name for its Boy Scouts program: Scouts BSA. The change will take effect next February.
“We wanted to land on something that evokes the past but also conveys the inclusive nature of the program going forward,” said Chief Scout Executive Mike Surbaugh. “We’re trying to find the right way to say we’re here for both young men and young women.”

One of my nephews in his early 20s and an Eagle Scout now calls himself Tara and wears girly clothes (I don't think he had a chopitoffame operation- yet). I can't help but wonder if he was turned out by a scout leader.
Well, if it lasts, it will be a miracle.
I’m living for the day when all this forced equity comes to a head and is forced on professional football. The teams will be comprised of equal representation of society, a certain number of men, women, children, old people, various, sexual identities, various ADA requirements. I would have loved to have seen a Stephen Hawkings type down field to receive for a punt return, unable to signal a fair catch, pummeled by a ginourmous player.

They may as well change the name; The Boy Scouts as it existed for 100 years is gone.
Pulled my boys out last year. We were in for almost 6 years starting with 1st grade. All they ever did was arts and crafts. Seriously. We may as well have been at he YMCA. They don’t even miss it. We put them karate instead.

For me, the Indian Guides, sponsored by the Young Men’s Christian Association, and the Boy Scouts were invaluable not only for my education and development but in strengthening our community. The Indian Guides were long ago dissolved as “racist,” even though they made young people aware of our Indian heritage and conducted toy drives and other activities on behalf of needy children on Indian reservations.
Now it’s the turn of the Boy Scouts. Under attack by the cultural Left for many years, they have finally caved. Here’s hoping that institutions like Trail Life USA can fill the vacuum.
I was on a Scout camping trip at Walnuts Flats to hike the AT. There was another group there, only men and boys. They were identical to our group except they had no rules. They were hunting wild hogs, fishing, smoking and drinking, big fire going, etc.
I thought to myself “That’s the way to do it”.
